So I noticed that my Google Maps nav volume starts out really low (like barely audible) and increases as the directions are spoken out. This seems to only be an issue on the iPhone 7, as the iPhone 6S sounds perfectly fine and loud from the get go.

It almost seems like the app can't decide which of the two speakers to use to output the sound?

An example of how the directions sound:

6S: In two miles, take exit XX onto I-XX East (full volume)
7: murmuring...murmuring...onto (semi audible) I-XX East (full volume)

Anyone else experiencing this on their 7/7+?

Yes! It drives me bonkers. I miss the first part of the navigation every time. Not sure if it's a 7 thing or an iOS 10 thing. Hope it's fixed though.

Definitely a 7 thing, although it isn't necessarily a hardware issue. My 6S on iOS 10 does not have this problem, which is why I created this thread in the iPhone section rather than the iOS 10 section :)
