I’ve been using my 10 pro XL for the last week. I really like the phone but I forgot how heavy some phones are lol wondering if I should return the XL and just get the pro? I do love the cameras and the battery on the XL is really good for me. Anyone comment on how the Pro battery is ?

The battery on the 10 pro has been brilliant for me after the first few days, easily outlasting the 16 pro i have just gotten rid of (it was so inconsistant, great battery one day and then rubbish the next)

10 Pro is not much lighter, but the narrower feel in hand makes it so much better IMHO. Just feels comfy and my “gamer’s thumb” is not as fatigued at the end of the day. Oddly… going back to a smaller phone, I realize the one thing is that if you have loose fit jeans and no case on the phone, it may actually turn sideways in your pocket and get wedged in landscape style. Case added some extra friction that helped keep it in place in my pocket.

I have been using it more than usual this first week (7-8 hrs SoT rather than my typical 4-5 hrs needed). No issues. Always got plenty in the tank at EOD and never engaged the battery saver once.

So it doesn't feel much lighter? So it's probably not worth me swapping then.

I installed the September update kind of with the hope that some performance things like frame drops in certain apps would have ironed itself out, but no luck. Ugh.

Ok the phones have been out a little while now.

What's everyone's opinion on the Pixel 10 Pro / and XL so far?

And what phone did you trade-in or come from going to the new Pixel 10?

I upgraded from an 8 Pro.

Speakers are superb. Haptics are improved. I don't notice any change in day to day performance (no gaming). The UI improvements are excellent, but this just got pushed to all Pixels. MagSafe is the killer feature in this phone. All the accessories are already available and the selection is endless.

I'm happy overall, but it was certainly not a needed upgraded.

This was shot on Pixel 10 apparently, and honestly, it's probably the best looking Auto Focus video I've seen to date. He shoots all of his AF videos on mobile. And it's so weird because Marques is not high on Pixel's video capabilities but accidentally put out the best looking AF video using it.
