To answer your disingenuous questions....

"Do yourself a favor and Google AI and AI agents. Listen to the TED Talk from Dr. Eric Schmidt it is an eye opener..."
"Look up Jensen Huang the CEO of Nvidia and watch some of his YT videos."

Google search "the future of AI"
There I taught you how to fish.....

You still didn't answer why, so I will ask it.. why? I don't tend to dig in on topics that are of no interest or concern to me.

I guess I could load them up if I need something to induce a nap.

Then why even comment on something you know nothing about..... have no interest in...... and induces you to sleep....
Sounds like you just want to make snarky comments about something you admittedly know nothing about and puts you to sleep....

No, I was here to read about and talk about the Pixel 10, as the thread is titled..not AI.

Pixel 10 and its Top 10 features that will try to convert us to Google in 2025

Nothing there that makes me think upgrading my 9 pro would be worth it.

As for the G5 Tensor, I think that there are going to be a lot of disappointed people when it's not the power house chip they expected!

nope...you commented on posts and replies from others that took the thread off topic about AI.
For something that you don't understand, has no interest in and puts you to sleep....you sure seem to have a lot to say about it....

You could be right....

Or from the 8, for that matter.

If you want people to share your enthusiasm for AI, you’re doing it wrong.

Only pixel 4 feature I want back is Project Soli.

The face unlock was as good, if not better than, FaceID.
This would be icing on the cake. I can't believe they scrapped Soli. The Pixel 4 is still my favorite Pixel to this day, and that includes the 9XL that I had. I got excited when I saw the tagline, and then didn't see Soli :(.

I'm sure the Pixel 10 will be another great device, but I have zero complaints or issues with my Pixel 9 right now. I don't really see a reason to upgrade yet. I'm going to do my best to use the 9 until we see a Pixel 13 release, assuming they don't change their naming scheme or something.

The roughness of the UI in iOS 26 beta 1 and some truly bad design decisions has me appreciating Material 3 Expressive even more. Looking forward to the final launch on the Pixel 10.

I've been looking from the outside on the beta and it does seem to be a mess from what most are reporting. Material 3 all the way

I was unaware at first, but judging by a quick search, I'm guessing it's the upcoming "brushed glass" look that you find off-putting?

Yeah, I always found iOS to look a little like Windows XP with all the bright green and bright blue everywhere. Now I think it looks like Windows Vista. It's pretty bad and will not age well or mix well with developers who do not want to adopt the aesthetic.

I’ve only installed the beta on my iPad Pro and I don’t find the new design terrible at all. The transparency elements can make some of the UI a bit more difficult to read but turning on ‘Reduce Transparency’ mostly solves that issue. The design is far from perfect but I think Apple’s OS’ were overdue for a fresh coat of paint.

The new multi-tasking functionality is pretty slick.

It’s obviously still early days so hopefully there will be some tweaks and polish as we move through both the betas and updates over the months and years. Every new design is always polarizing and it’s going to take some time to settle in. iOS 7 upset a ton of people initially but the furor certainly settled over time.

I know this is the Pixel 10 thread but I also downloaded the iOS beta on my 16P and I don't dislike it at all.
It definitely has some quirks but the glass design is pretty cool and if you stick to just normal coloured icons it's clearly just a little aesthetic update. I like that you can choose.

On another note I recently picked up a P9 Pro again and have had the Android 16 beta on it since I got it. I think it's fantastic. And, the battery life has been absolutely stellar on it. Easily getting through the day which I wasn't doing before on my old P9 Pro.
It's an exciting time to be an apple or android fan (or both, as many of us are) as we're definitely in the phase of less innovation hardware wise, and instead a big push with software and I like it.

Do you like the new pointer on your iPad pro?

I know this is early days for the IOS 26 beta...I feel like you as well. I don't hate it. I realize it is a beta...and it needs work.
But also I have betas for One UI 8 on the S25U and Android 16 beta on my P9XL. Those have been a much smoother experience so far for me.

Agreed regarding Android 16. I put the beta on my Pixel 9 Pro Fold and I think it looks great. My initial gut reaction was it looked more ‘iOS’ like but that not exactly true. It still does to me but I think it also just feels more polished…the animations and haptics, the small little touches. That’s something Apple traditionally focuses more on and probably why it felt that way to me initially.
