As in the case of multiple people I know on android have never had any issues and still continue to purchase android’s.
Not individuals like some random in the street has got your information but multiple different companies and branches of government have more information on you than google has.
Again why should people like yourself care if apple take features from android when you celebrate the fact a company makes a tonne of money it’s just odd?

I think it’s odd to ramble on about iOS copying android when clearly google started it in 2008. I’m pointing out to your backdoor criticism is that Apple implements features that make them billions.
Personally, I don't care if Apple Copies features. They all copy each other. And there is nothing wrong with that. I am not going to switch over to Android because it has a feature that the iPhone does not have. I use the iPhone because I like it and to me, it's easy to use and easy to set up the features that it has. I don't have to tinker around in settings like I do on an android. At the end of the day, who cares? It's a phone...they all do pretty much the same things...sometimes in different ways, sometimes in very identical ways. Just use what you like. I personally just like the iPhone and I have tried Google and Samsung in the past, and just did not like them. Haha.

again multiple family members and colleagues over the years have android devices and don’t have any issues whatsoever not one regarding viruses or malware

20 years ago yet things have moved on since 2007 & certain people are still clinging to that yet if you compare and contrast both companies in the last 10 years then android as an OS has not only caught up but is better in some ways and certain device makers have implemented better devices that apple is playing catch up with certain things.
Your anecdotal information doesn’t help the people who were attacked or caught by a zero day vulnerability.

3.5 inch screen was the perfect size for a phone yet why did apple make a plus size device where they first or did another company have bigger screen phones out already?

It’s common knowledge that when Apple released the iPhone, google scrambled to add features to android making it closer to iOS.
This is to counteract all of the “Apple copy’s this and Apple copy’s that”. A fair bit of android copying is happening as well.
Apple has a very loyal fan base for many reasons. Many companies would “kill” to get a fan base that Apple has.

And companies that make devices are surpassing apple in certain aspects hardware wise because apple is now a company that lets others take the lead like for example when they introduced the 6 plus because of Samsung’s big screen devices
They are not a sports team so why would a company have a loyal following because if you support a team then if they win you celebrate because sports bring out emotions

The revenue for the 6 plus in one year was about 6 years worth of total revenue from Samsung for all of there products, imo. Only certain people care that Apple was inline with a trend at the time toward bigger phones.

We both disagree with each others points and that isn’t going away. I do agree Tim Cook is about money and Apple customers keep paying up. There must be something there they like.

Another fun fact: The iPad was in development before the iPhone. Apple thought the interface would work work well for a phone too.
And the iPad development was in response to Bill Gates' obsession with tablets (Jobs wanted to show how it could be done right). So I guess we have Gates to thank for the iPhone.
The preferred size of a phone is something that changes based on people's preferences. Just like the Boom-Box vs a regular radio. Once there was enough demand, Apple launched a larger phone. They don't go by emotions or trying to compete with others.
And Google is all about your data and personal information.
I never expected any of these to be free, but I would rather pay money than have it for 'free' in exchange for my privacy.

I know it’s difficult but stop trying to rewrite history because apple had no intention about bringing out a big screen phone until android makers started making that the iPhone look small and tiny then apple changed tactic just like they have been doing every since cook took over sitting waiting to see what the competition does then they implement there ideas where be it software features or hardware and that is especially true in the last 10 years plus

The problem apple has is they have to cater for a certain demographic that doesn’t like change and they have individuals that will purchase their products regardless and that has been reflected in at least the the 10 years or so in terms of software and hardware

Absolutely. Apple customers who want innovation combineded with very good implementation flock to Apple. Android had their fair share of copying apples innovation. Apples success in their approach can be seen in their quarterly earnings.

Squeezing customers pockets equals bigger profits by a number of factors
In the last 10 years android has certainly caught up and in some ways surpassed apple
In certain software features and some hardware devices
Neither does less profits.
If said customers spend Apple who is anybody to comment. It’s not as if a forum member is funding the purchase of random customers.
In some ways and some ways not. It depends on what one looks for.
