Neither does less profits.

If said customers spend Apple who is anybody to comment. It’s not as if a forum member is funding the purchase of random customers.

In some ways and some ways not. It depends on what one looks for.

Again it depends on individual requirements.
Your just wrong if you think that apple has been more innovative in the last 10 years compared with android and certain devices made by competitors for a number of reasons

You’ve offered up nothing but gross generalizations and misplaced opinions to backup anything you have posted.
I see apple have taken features from android for iOS 26
They are about to announce a thin iPhone
Yet Samsung have already done it
Next year comes the foldable iPhone yet Samsung have had one for years
Apple make big screen phones yet Samsung had big devices first compared with the puny
4inch iPhone 5
Just a pattern of the last 10 years plus of apple

All you know is the announcement. Apple could have started work on this 10 years ago.

The only thing Samsung did is the announcement. There is no way of knowing who had the idea first.

Again you don’t know about the timeline. Only the announcement.

Yeah buddy apple started working on this during iOS 9 and it’s took then this long to implement these features yet another company has already done it
So did google send spy’s in to apple headquarters to see what features Apple was working on 😂😂😂

Well Samsung produced the device first and you can purchase it right now so there you go

What announcement buddy apple have not announced a foldable device yet Samsung have had them out for years

Again incorrect because apple was questioned on why the iPhone 5 was only 4inches compared with bigger devices from competitors
and there response was it was the perfect size for a device yet Samsung was producing bigger devices at the point maybe you should look it up

Again the only thing you can cling to is 2007
Nearly 20 years ago time moves on unlike some who cling to the good old days

It’s all announcements because you don’t know when development started and there is no factual data to refute anything I posted.

And again copying is copying. Apple customers spend billions every quarter. That amounts to a lot.

One Samsung feature Apple (luckily) hasn't been able to emulate is spontaneous combustion 😏

How can it all be announcements when you can actually use the thing or purchase the product in a retail store then if you base it on your logic from 2007 then apple have copied these competitors more in the last 10 years or so because we have actual evidence to compare and contrast.

Again it’s a bit strange to keep talking about a company making money when it doesn’t benefit me as a consumer if they do as I don’t get a cut from the profits it’s a bit odd

It’s a fact google copied iOS. But announcements don’t equal first. What matters is when companies started to work on these items. I don’t disagree android rushes to release many things first, albeit unpolished and rough around the edges. Apple releases many features after android (but not all) that are polished to perfection.

It’s also a bit strange not to recognize that one of the health checks of a company is their revenue. It means the company has the wherewithal to provide better products for a consumer. As a consumer you directly benefit.

If you’re argument is apple released the iPhone before google developed android as is
Then you can use the same logic for everything that google has implemented before apple into android
And then what device manufacturers have produced before apple has in the last 10 years
Bigger phones and foldable devices and all screen displays to name a few all before apple
Under cook

Use any logic you want. You can’t prove any one company developed anything before another company.

All you can cite is the announcement cement and release, which probably has no bearing on the start of development.

Well you can because if a company has already got a foldable phone on the market and you still haven’t released one then you are behind the competition as you claim regarding iOS being out then Android about a year later funny that

It’s not announcements it’s facts that in the last 10 years or more the Android side has been more innovative in terms of software features and hardware releases when you compare & contrast both sides since Tim Cook has been in charge he’s sat back and waited to see what sticks with the competition and then implemented that towards apple

Sorry. You dont know when hardware software was conceived and started to be worked on. For the most part only announced.

But have your opinion. Apple customers like to spend to the tune of billions a quarter. Apple customers except for some vocal minority don’t care who started work in it first announced it first.

ok buddy
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is an Android-based foldable smartphone developed by Samsung Electronics. Unveiled on February 20, 2019, it was released globally beginning on September 6, 2019.
Still waiting for apple version?

Features on android don’t worry apple will get them eventually it’s ok to play catch up just like under Tim cook’s leadership

YOU do because you keep going on about
Something from nearly 20 years ago and not bring up things from the last 10 years plus like big phones or foldable devices or new features on iOS

Can you tell me what date Apple started to think about and design a foldable phone? Was it in 2020, 2014 etc. the point is you are going on announcement dates to show a ridiculous argument.

Yep and apple customers will really like these features and spend billions in a quarter and not give a second thought a debate such as this.

You’re certainly welcome to think what you want. However copying is copying. And citations that back up your points would certainly go a long way.

Yeah apple started to think about foldable devices after Samsung released theirs in 2019
Just like apple decided to start working on a big device after the original note came out in 2011
Just like the three new features on iOS 26 that have been on android for years just like nightsight on android and then all of a sudden the next year it’s on iOS
But hey copying is copying

More examples include fast charging which was featured in Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (2014), wireless charging in Galaxy S3 (2012), multi-camera systems in HTC One M7, LG G3, Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei Mate 9, AR camera in Sony Xperia Z2 (2014), water resistance in Xperia V (2012), Galaxy S4 active (2013), Galaxy S5(2014), Galaxy S7 (2016), 1080p front-camera video recording in Galaxy S4 (2013) and 2160p video recording in Galaxy Note 3 (2013), all of which were features Android-based mobile phones had years ahead of iPhones, which were labelled as unneeded and/or superfluous by critics on forums and social media by the same people that would consider it as innovative when Apple introduced the feature on their mobile phones years later.

Copying is copying and a citation is worth more than opinions.

The thing that is ironic about the above list is the copying that android did. The biggest one being lenses inventor is Kodak.

I keep giving you examples through the last
10 plus years of company’s that have introduced features and new hardware
And your response is exactly this
all of which were features Android-based mobile phones had years ahead of iPhones, which were labelled as unneeded and/or superfluous by critics on forums and social media by the same people that would consider it as innovative when Apple introduced the feature on their mobile phones years later.
Or this like "the same Apple iPhone users who earlier stated the slim build of Apple iPhones as a reason for purchase (e.g., iPhone 6, iPhone 6s), purchase the iPhone 11 despite its 8.3mm thickness," which means that the thickness suddenly does not matter for fans when Apple made a mobile phone thicker than usual.
And this has been the pattern under Tim Cook since has put in charge just sit back and wait for the competition and then down the line implement it into apple’s products

You left out a few features that android cooied, such as 64 bit architecture. Face ID, iMessages, etc. there’s a big list. And you also neglected that android didn’t exactly invent many features but borrowed them such alas the finger print reader and OLED (which was autocorrected in the last post)
And your response is exactly this
all of which were features Android-based mobile phones had years ahead of iPhones, which were labelled as unneeded and/or superfluous by critics on forums and social media by the same people that would consider it as innovative when Apple introduced the feature on their mobile phones years later.
And iOS swept the floor with features they innovated and showed android had to do right.

Is iMessage not just a copy of blackberry messenger
The Samsung S8 had face unlock that was out before the iPhone X

When was that 2007 nearly 20 years ago
The problem is you keep citing from one event from almost 2 decades ago yet in the last 10 years plus I’ve gave you multiple examples yet to me maybe the problem is this

Maybe that’s the issue

And was that secure enough to use in financial transactions? Nope. In fact the iPhone X was the first phone to fully rely on Face ID authentication. Not android.

Yes you keep acknowledging the copying google did 20 years ago.

The issue and you’ve pointed it out is android throws in random features. Apple produces a cohesive experience with spit and polish that’s light years ahead of android.

Here’s some iOS firsts and they were game changers that android copied.
- made the market
- ditched the sim and headphone jack
- 64 bit
- Corning gorilla glass
- secure Face ID
- capacitive touch acreen
- dual core processors
- high resolution display
- integrated sensors

Every android phone that has any of the above is continually copying apple.

This sounds like your point of view

I think your clutching there because Samsung have always had better screens on their devices for a start so your in correct there for a start
