did they put the part where Google records you key clicks, camera, microphone, all data in your phone, location and store it in a database that their employees can see and sell it to 3rd party advertisers (and probably can be hacked and leaked)?

To be honest I accept an element of Apple fanboy-ism on a website like this, and you certainly come up against a "Church of Apple" on Reddit forums. As a iphone user, with ipads also in my household, but as someone who also used a Pixel 8 Pro previously and a Samsung S22 Ultra before that I'm certainly open minded and I agree that there is no reason why Google cannot be trusted as much as Apple. If anything, considering the MASSIVE amount of additional confidential data Google has over Apple, it is a great achievement for Google to not have had a large data issue.

The Google privacy thing is used here just to bash Google (as Google fans use the "iphone sheep" thing to bash Apple), but has little merit in the real world. What is clear is that it will be an interesting next few years in mobile phone development, and the best thing to do is keep yourself platform agnostic so you have flexibility to move to who performs the best and is most deserving of your money. You specifically have to be aware of this with Apple, as they intentionally don't develop cross platform applications for their products, this is against the industry norm and not what the competition do who are more consumer friendly in this respect. Don't let yourself be tied by invisible handcuffs.

The Cool Part of CA, USA
and yes, people who buy a Google phone know that they are the product
At least you actually have to pay for Pixel phones, but I genuinely wonder what fraction of people using Google services realize that they're the product.

I'm sure some do, and as long as you get that and are okay with it there's nothing inherently wrong with accepting being a product in exchange for something free (or lower-cost). The issue, however, is when people think that thing is actually free free, and aren't aware of what they're giving in return for it. I suspect the significant majority of Google service users don't actually understand that.

Do you have any solid evidence of this?

Not unless you work on the inside of Google and see with your own eyes the information they have on their computers. But here are some links that might make you double think if you want to trust Google:

It's not quite clear if Apple Intelligence is incapable of handling full text generation and photorealistic image creation, or if these are capabilities that Apple feels are a little too questionable to touch given the sentiment about AI-created content
It’s not capable to do full text generation ON DEVICE, which is what Apple wants to do on its own AI services.

What I heard from industrial chatter is that Apple’s roadmap for Apple Intelligence is handling full text generation and image creation on their own, BUT ON DEVICE and not handing off to cloud. Unfortunately even with high RAM requirement, the neural engine on Apple Silicon is still not powerful enough, it will be about two or three years away before Apple have a chip capable of having on device text and image generation.

Google is light years ahead but no surprise here, Google, OpenAI are THE players in AI.
It is to be seen if Apple can become a relevant player, no surprise they needed to Partner with OpenAI.
It is really bad that last year Iphone 15 cannot get decent AI because Apple skimped on the RAM to make a few bucks more. Luckely I got a 15 PRO but ghost ... I dodged a bullet

For some strange reason Millennials love Google, even prefer Google Apps over MS Office...
In the meantime, Google is making millions data-mining them. By the time they realized they have been abused this way, it will be too late.

To trust your privacy to a company that depends on personal information to make money, it's insane! Pure non-sense!

I don't think it's that "Millennials" don't realize, it's that they don't particularly care or they feel that all companies are or can be bad and greedy so they might as well use the products they want for "free."

Really in MKBHD’s video he showed it connected to a MagSafe like charger I assumed was Qi2?
Qi2 is not on the specs (these phones are certified Qi version 1 compatible). After reading your comment I went to his video to double check. No Qi2 on these phones. Google are idiots.

Now how do we convince the auto industry (where magnetic Qi2 certification is needed the most) to adopt Qi2? Qi2 has additional safety features over Qi, is Qi backwards compatible, and comes with Wireless Power Consortium certified minimum magnetic hold strength.

Here's a 10:55 timestamp for you:
