Interesting YouTube video but I couldn't finish watching it(very boring). Looks like a lot of the characteristics of the Iphone have been copied but I will wait until I can handle one to give my verdict.

There are thousands of Windows Mobile games, many of them accelerated 3D games, most of these support hundreds of devices.
To put it simply, you're wrong.
I agree. Also who is going to buy that ugly a$$ brick? With all this Android talk/hype, I was rather disappointed with the design. It seems to be very important for a phone to be aesthetically pleasing as it helps move the products. It may function well and have tons of apps but I can see this thing having a lot of problems being open especially in the realm of security. I'll stick with my iphone 3g thanks.First handset, I see. Why not make it a good one.
Being open and all can be good but from a marketing perspective, if you launch this thing and it's a mediocre device, people will connect that to Android (which doesn't look all too fascinating now, does it).
The handset it butt-ugly.
I'm so glad you've tested the YET TO BE RELEASED Android phones. You seem to know so much about something you've never used.
But people don't have to download it. Diligent users would only download apps from reputable sources and only to fill a purpose they want. You could say the same about Windows software that is made to purposely kill your system.
"any developer can upload any application" sounds like a big mess.
I saw the UI screenshots and they look horrible, as much as WinMobile...so no, they are not for me.
If I have to buy a new phone, it's gonna be an iPhone, period.![]()
Look and Are - Horrible are two entirely different items.
No they're not. A user-interface cannot work well if it looks horrible to the user. I challenge you to come up with a single piece of software that you think looks horrile, but you still love to use.
Apple Newton !
Astroids
PAC MAN
Dig Dug
basically anything in the 8-bit or prior era.
Linux and DOS, pre GUI era? People loved them and still covet them. Some Unix/Linux users still prefer the command line to a GUI.
I'm sorry, but you're going to have to explain what "looks horrible" about any of those programs.
A command line is not ugly. It's simple and elegant. Astroids is not difficult to see or understand. Pac Man is fantastically clear and easy to use.
I'm not sure you know what a horrible user interface looks like if this is what you think I'm talking about.
...
The different screen sizes isn't such a bit deal... look at Java apps on mobile devices today.
You said it LOOKS horrible; meaning you used your VISION to feebly attempt to bash the USABILITY of the OS.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)
This is just a speedbump on the iPhones road to glory.

Apple's Classic OS looked like ****, people loved it.
