I got mine today also and have always used zaggs but decided to try this since I had a coupon and honestly I would not recommend it. It looks horrible and mine are on perfect. I'm going to leave the sides on nd gt the hd. This thing is terrible, looks back, way to thick and not worth purchasing IMO.

Would you be able to take as good of pictures as possible of the sides and back, please? I would appreciate it so much. TIA

here you go

Okay so I thought the images would show. Im doing something wrong can someone explain?

I got mine yesterday and installed. The back is one piece and it looks really good to me and I don't see any flaws in my install, used the gel. I also did the sides and they look good as well, gives it more of a glossy look but they installed easily without the gel.

Thank for the review man, helps us out. Would you be able to take a good picture of the back and sides? Thanks in advance!

Okay so i couldnt figure out how to add the pictures so I made a tumbler page.:rolleyes:. Here is the link with the images you asked for. I also want to point out that I had to cut some off the side strips because they overlapped each other.

here it is on black. only downside with side pieces is some lint, but oh well all is protected. I have a ringbo rearth ultra clear plus screen protector on the front.

Minus the lint, your iPhone looks awesome in the bodyguard! How'd you install it? They send 2 sets right? Thx

Yeah. I applied the back with the gel they give you and the sides dry. Did the side with buttons first then the top then the sim side. Gotta make sure you don't stretch it, did that the first time and nothing lined up.

Makes sense, thanks for the tip. Your iPhone is by far the best looking black one with the protector on I have seen yet. Kudos

remember if you're installing the sides and you decide that you need to re-position, keep in mind it will stretch if you pull it too hard.

i removed my sides, i didn't like how it felt and it didn't align on the side volume buttons. not a fan of the glossy look.

Nice job with the install. Just curious as to how much thickness this adds. I plan on installing this screen guard and then putting it in a TPU case (Probably the Belkin Sheer or maybe the Speck Candyshell) and I was wondering if it would fit at all?

I got mine yesterday and put the front and back on one of my old 4's that I am giving to my dad (a skin cut for the 4, obviously.) At first I hated it. Hazy, wavy, orange peel. I was really disappointed. I actually put the front on dry and the back with gel. I ended up peeling the front off and put gel on it and reapplied it. It's not perfect because of this, but much better. This morning I looked at it and was pleasantly surprised. It looks pretty decent now. Still not sure I like it more than a Power Support, but it's not bad. I think I will put one on the screen of the wife's 5. I think I'm going to go without on my 5. Just going to put a skin on the back and possibly the sides.

Put my back only on last night.

The application at first is easy, its not till you have to peel the protective shield off that it becomes tricky. This did not come off clean and actually peeled the entire shield off again, leaving air bubbles and a mess. I tried to reapply but it got ugly so i had to pull out the spare shield it came with.

This apply went a little smoother and after the application there was some haziness and speckles, but those all disappeared this morning.

I have the sides on as well and I will say i am pretty happy with the product for the most part, the main thing that concerns me is the back not extending all the way to the edges leaving a little of the aluminum exposed.

I had the same thing with the backing. Ideally you should probably wait a couple hours till the adhesive starts to set up before peeling the backing. They should probably put that on the little sticker. At first it was pulling up the corner. I pushed it back down and tried gently twisting the tab the other way and got it to separate from the skin.

Or be like me and accidentally peel that one off first put the gel on that side then realize I did it wrong. So then it was already off for me when I did it the right way. Using the gel to me makes a world of difference cause you can slide it in the right place and eliminate error.

If your iPhone is black would you be able to post a pic of back and sides? Thanks!

So you guys would recommend gel application on the back and dry for the sides?

UPDATE: 48 hours after Gel application - I did the back only and it looks decent in terms of film clarity - I assume because it's the ultra-tough film it's not as crystal clear as other film makers???

I originally did the sides but I don't like the feel of it and the gloss gave my iphone a cheap look to it.
