I've gone for a similar set up with a Zagg invisible shield on the back, transparent lucky labs spectra wraps on the sides, and, at the moment, a cheap Griffin screen protector while I wait for the power support crystal to be released.

Love the look of a naked phone without worrying about scratches.

How did they tell you that "they readjusted the back film due to all the feedback"? I received an email response about the issue from them on 10/08/12 and they wrote "The space along the edge of the protector that you are seeing was designed to be that way. We left about 1 mm of space for installation and removal purposes."

It doesn't sound like they have a new back design nor do they plan on doing one in the future...

Maybe with the new adjusted cut there is less space compared to the skin I originally received which shipped 9/25.

"Thank you for contacting us! We have done a revised cut for the Back protectors. Here is a 50% off coupon code you can use on your next purchase with us: .

We appreciate your business, and please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!"

(my question was if there would be a updated film anytime soon since the film left a bit too much exposed)

"Thank you for your order! It is true that we adjusted the cut for the back of the iPhone due to the feedback we received. If you would like to arrange get a replacement, please call us or email us at 801-495-2514 | support@bodyguardz.com" - through MacRumors pm

I have ordered a BSE.. It has full-coverage including the lightning port area and it is way cheaper (7$). I will be using it with my Bodyguardz Pure Glass that I got with 50% discount. My Bodyguardz does look good though with dry apply. I just don't like the lack of coverage.

Well I messaged Bodyguardz and they aren't shipping out replacements for the new cuts. They simply asked me to buy through their Advantage program ($4.95).

Honestly, don't want to go through that hassle/money.
Rather just spend a few more and get better covering with BSE.

I'll leave my Bodyguardz on for now though, missing 1mm doesn't bother me that much.

The thing about bodyguardz side wraps is that it goes edge to edge which could be good, however it grabs a lot of dust build up right along side the wraps. And also they are so thick that you can barely feel/find the sleep/wake button and the volume buttons which was one thing I really disliked about it. Not to mention when I removed it, it left sticky residue.. Really? We are in 2012, technology is past residue ages.. I've tried many different wraps and this is the first one that has left a sticky residue, was very disappointed. I went with clear-coat thanks to larrygreenberg's review and I couldn't be much happier!

Here's some pics of mine after 2 weeks. All of the bubbles did go away which was great, I forgot it was on there most of the time.
I took it off after taking these photos to put iCarbon skin on. It did leave a little residue in some places which I could remove with the sticky part of the skin.

I feel the same about the sides (and lock button!)

What is clear-coat? Is it better than BSE?

Clear coat left residue when I removed mine.

Nope, I don't think I have the recut one. Compared to other's photos, it still exposes ~1mm. Could I get a replacement?

You probably do have the "recut" version. I received the "recut" version and the back film is still around 1mm short along both long edges. In other words, the film width is approx. 2mm shorter than the aluminum back.

I understand why they don't want the film to be exactly the width of the aluminum back to avoid the film from extending past the edge. However, it's clear that the film could be 1mm wider and still be well within the edges.

Shouldn't we be disappointed? Don't the other films like BSE offer better coverage?

Where is even the Replacement Cost fee button on the website? The instructions are unclear...and I need a replacement, can someone direct me.
