Your reasoning is beyond illogical and wreaks of self-entitlement. If someone does not want to risk the problems that are inherent in a beta then they should not install it. It's that simple.

It's a BETA!!!!!!!!
I have been doing software before many of you were born. Chances are you are running some of my code on your computer...
The only way to make software better, is to find and acknowledge the bugs! Meaning you find out where and why they are happening. Is that really so hard to understand?
I usually just block users like you straight away, because of your non-constructive manner.
Everything achieved in the history of the planet is done by people, who wanted change for the better. Those who are happy with status quo, have never changed a g.d darned thing to the better. Jeez.

Consider yourself blocked...

I've been trying all the hints and tips here, and they all seem to work for a few days at max and then I'm back to square one.

For me it seems to be extremely random. Sometimes I drive home from work (35-60 minutes depending on traffic) and I'll arrive home without ever getting a GPS-lock and sometimes it gets a lock after 4-5 minutes.

I've tried with WiFi enabled, disabled, etc. No avail. Tested with Apple Maps, Waze, Pokémon Go, Google Maps, ...

For those still having the gps issue on ios12 , I just read this procedure that worked for someone else.
“This is what fixed it for me: Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data Options -> (Disable 4G or LTE, whatever you have). Restart the phone. Launch Waze. If fixed, you can now re-enable LTE.”

Worth a shot I guess

I’ll check again on my commute home, but I did this before I left this morning and it seems to have worked. I just turned cellular off, restart, and then turned it back on.

iPhone 7+, AT&T in the US...haven't had a single issue since installing PB1...I check it every day too. Hope this luck stays for the next beta (and hope all of you with issues have it resolved!). Don't know what I would do without GPS.

I never realize how much I use maps until it is broken haha. It has been hell as I have a terrible sense of direction.

Weird, I wonder what other factors could be contributing to still-broken GPS on b3? I tested mine with wifi switched off and it's still working fine (iPhone X, tmobile, OTA, beta3)

(testing from indoors, but my office has a large window)

I replied on the dp b3 thread. How are you determining that it isn't fixed? Are you physically in a location where the GPS signal would reach your phone? i.e. outside?
Yes. When I shift-IPSW updated in Beta 2 it worked in the exact same location on airplane mode.
edit: turned of bluetooth, wifi, and location, restarted, turned them back on and stuff works now

Hoping b3 has fixed the Apple Watch issue (not recording maps on a run using Apple workout app), if anybody gets chance to test it before me I’d be very greatful
