Has it fixed in beta 2 someone plz try it

It looks fixed. Mine would initially be a little off until I started driving for maybe 2-3 minutes and then it would lock on. I need more than one try to officially confirm, but GPS locked on right away and gave accurate directions.

I checked briefly (not an extensive test, to be sure) and Waze seems to be working without issue. Other GPS functions are also working as expected, but I'll know more after a drive home tonight.

Not fixed after more testing.

Edit: using Apple maps on iPhone X with AT&T. It still takes GPS a few minutes into the trip to “lock on” to my location. On my commute home I was still a few streets off from my actual location for the first few minutes.

Not working iPhone X for waze, maps and google maps. Still showing inaccurate location. Tried taking out sim, reboot and reputting in too.

So far working for me. All have locked in to my location immediately. 5 mile drive was spot on. And this after a very rough morning with it pre-beta 2.

Maybe it needs time for the first lock to happen?

Seems to be different for different people. In beta one, I would frequently get an initial lock and then it would lose my location as time went on. It got so bad this morning that I had to reboot the phone. However, after installing beta two, it has been locking on immediately and staying locked on, admittedly for only about a 5 mile trip, as well as random attempts this evening from a fixed location.

Won’t lock on location for me at all. Was this way in beta 1 and same in beta 2

All those who are are having GPS issues. Are you using a model with Intel or Qualcomm modem? I assume this is an Intel modem issue

Same Intel Apple probably released the modem for Qualcomm variant as it is their unlocked version which might explains why the Intel variant doesn't get a lock.

Runkeeper is still all over the place. It was so bad today that I stopped it after 10mins of my run as it said I’d covered 10km!

I did do just over 10km but it took me 52mins as I’m running at 1000m ASL in 34Deg C. I wish I could run 10km in 10mins! :D

I did a clean install of Beta 2 from the .ipsw and also reinstalled Runkeeper. But still didn’t solve it.
