Already ordered the SBTi a week ago and will arrive in about 2 weeks but idk the graphite looks good too. Actually the graphite will arrive tomorrow but I think its not an easy decision.

Sometimes I prefer the more shiny look and sometimes the brushed look of the Ti.

The problem I have with the graphite is that sometimes it looks too silver for me + the fingerprints if you touch it. The Ti however looks sometimes too boring and I know there is a difference between Ti and Al but not so much to recognize from 2 m apart. Ti + AC costs way more than SS + AC.

Probably have to use the 2 weeks exchange window to test the graphit and hopefully the Ti will arrive till then.

since you would be testing both models , could you please let us know if you really feel any weight difference between the two on day to day usage?

I can tell you my experience with Al and SS. (S4 and S5) on the first day you will notice the weight gain (s4 was Al) but after somedays you don’t notice it although going back from SS to Al was nice.

but yeah my problem is less weight and more do I want a more shiny look?
I have to say if I don’t like the Graphit I will stick with the Ti. I saw the Ti in the Apple store for about 20 sec and it looks nice but from 1 feet apart everyone will thinks it’s Al..

btw graphite is still prepared to ship, I’m wondering which carrier Apple will choose because UPS doesn’t work in Germany on Saturday.

Side by side, graphite is more appealing in my opinion. And besides it’s more scratch resistant too, comparatively.
I am sure either would be a great choice! And besides it’s only till the next 12 months before the next watch is released, anyway.

I feel the next increment of the watch would be a structural change, may be inclusion of touch sensor. So if you don’t like graphite and you really need a new watch , may be aluminium is not a bad option. as its cheaper.

I already have the S6 al but already a few scratches on the screen after 3 weeks. Lucky my Gf will send her blue S6 back and she will take my Black Al because she likes that more.

i really like the Al so I first thought the Ti is a no brainer for me however with the long wait for shipping I watched couple of videos about the graphite and I like it. I just don’t know if it fits my style.

so right now without any of them here I prefer the Ti because I like the look of the Ti but maybe graphite will blow me away tomorrow (but I have to say I hate fingerprints and there the Ti is a better option)

Got it. Weight no issue vs Al, but haven’t done a workout yet

Well when I bought it, I got the date 11/06 - 11/13 however the Apple store app shows 11/13. If it comes 11/06 I have a couple of hours before I have to return it. Hopefully it comes even faster like couple of users mentioned here

The problem is I have a flagship store around here (Munich) where they have the Ti, but not for testing just in the showcase... i saw it but that doesn’t help me to decide (it’s even 40mm so hard to see haha).

I wish you get enough time to try both!
Good luck!
what is the point of show casing titanium if it’s not for trial! I had the same issue with one of the stores in the UK. But that is last year and when titanium was recently launched and there was dire shortage of the models.

Idk mate at least I saw it in RL but there is still a (Lightning) difference in the showcase vs on your arm

I was worried that Graphite is more like silver in sun but it’s not. Yes it’s not like SB but you can see a difference between silver and graphite. Later I go to the city and will look how it suit up with my cloths (I have 90% of the time a more sporty look)

First glance I can definitely see that as non silver variant. But yes it’s not as black as space black.but close enough.

So have to take the Graphite. While I slept I put off the watch (idk how and why) and it fell to the ground. So I can’t return the graphite for the Ti. My heart is broken

was there a damage? screen crack or case damage?

i vaguely remember apple store specialist mentioning that they would still accept the item withit the 14 day window period even with minor scuffs and scratches. and besides, its quite hard to view the scratches on graphite unless you observer it closely. and i highly doubt they would do that.

It’s not big and my luck is, that the corner where it is, is hard to see for me (upper left corner) still I’m sad and I don’t think they accept this. I will buy Apple care and will wait for the next damage and then I will return. Right now idk have Apple care because I wanted to wait the 14 day window.

But I‘m impressed. It fell of my bed which is around 50-70 cm (idk) and right on that corner and then on the glass. The glass has no scratches

Right, Apple isn’t taking a Magnifying glass to the watch. What they inspect when you make a return with a product like the Apple Watch, Is an substantial damage with cracks on the display or the Watch doesn’t power on due to significant damage, then there is a problem. But they don’t care about minimalistic damage. Apple sells refurbished Apple watches that show light scratches, they certainly wouldn’t prohibit a customer from making returns due to artificial scratches on the casing or display.
