willstraf's screenshot just made me realize how badly Cydia needs to update the icon for the retina display... ick! Although, to be honest I keep Cydia in my SBSettings dock anyway, so I don't see it full size most of the time.

There is a retina cydia icon but you have to ssh and replace the stock non-retina icon that downloads automaticly when you JB.

I am not getting my hopes up.

I am. I have a JB 3G & a non-JB iP4 & right now I like my 3G more than my iP4.

For me, It just isnt the same or worth the money without the JB...

SHatter is the exploit. GP is the JB I THINK, but I've been wrong before.

I'm really a newbie here so please bare with me ....I have an iPhone 4 with 4.1 installed and my device has never been jailbroken. So will I be able to use the Greenposi0n jailbreak? I'm guessing there will be a step by step guide for the jailbreak virgins haha?

You can JB it using redsnow but only the Mac version is available now. The windows version of redsnow should be out soon though.
Currently there is no unlock for iphones 3G and 3GS that have been updated to 4.1

yes you'll be able to jailbreak with greenpois0n or w/e they decide to call it. However, if you wish to unlock there is no current way to unlock the 2. w/e baseband 4.1 comes with. and i'm pretty sure there will be tutorials online on how to jailbreak

Finally!

I upgraded to an iPhone 4 two weeks ago intent on selling it on ebay and keeping my jailbroken 3GS...but the sleek design and front camera sold me!

I feel so damn naked without customization.
