I am surprised they have not yet released an "Official" version of Pwnage tool for the old bootrom 3GS that are already pwned to get to 4.1. I believe there is something out there from "Microsoft Guy" but some are awaiting an official version of the tool from the Dev team.

We tell people to do a Google or MRoogle to search for already posted information yet people re-post Twitter messages. Seems to be a contradiction. Same behavior on Twitter with people reposting tweets which results in the people who follow all the people end up seeing the same message being posted a half dozen times.
Twitter is blocked at my work as well so I use Twitterrific on my iPhone to keep up to date.
Already someone started a new thread about the 3GS and the new jb.
Although, since people can't spell greenpois0n correctly, people won't be able to find it in a search anyway. So, I guess multiple threads and reposts of tweets are needed.
Depends. If you're going to post about something said elsewhere, i'd much rather you copied the text (or a summary, if it's a long article) here rather than just saying "look at this link for some news". Easier to follow the "story", rather than having to go off to a different website for every post.
I imagine that they have been waiting until they could release an updated PwnageTool with support for 4.1 on all devices. It really doesn't make much sense to write two separate updates and test each when just by waiting a couple of weeks they could create a more universal tool incorporating both the 24Kpwn for 3GS and SHAtter for 4th-generation devices.
They seen to be pretty much ready for 4.2 Comex have a few userland exploit to make greenposi0n works on 4.2 and also cover all other non-A4 like the 3GS and so.
I must be imagining all the re-tweets from comex.
You have me confused with someone who asked for your opinion about Twitterrific.
You see retweets but not if they're already in your stream. Please show me otherwise. Screenshot if you can. This may be different in Twitterific but on twitter.com and the official twitter app this never happens.
I don't give a flying &$%# if you asked for my opinion on twitterific. If you're complaining about seeing the same tweet over and over and you only use twitterific to check twitter, maybe you should be a little more open to people's opinion on the client.
Twitterific sucks. Plain and simple. Everything about it. It's buggy. It's slow because of all of the non-native UI crap. It obviously floods you with the same bull&$&# all the time. What more do you need?
Besides Cydia, there are no "stock" apps. Some of the more popular packages will work right away, some won't. It's not like this Jailbreak has been seeded to all the developers out there. The vast majority of them will get it the same time you or I can.
When to go to the new Jailbreak is easy for first timers or users that have no choice. But for folks like me, you have to show some patience while waiting for your important packages to be compatible.

I don't know if there's really enough of a difference in the versions to cause major compatibility issues. 4.1 is basically gamecenter, hdr, and bug fixes. Nothing at the core seems to have really changed.

It won't take that long, there aren't many system changes on 4.1 from 4.0.1 (directory structure are the same), it will take just a few days for devs to be up to speed.
Question: I don't care about gamecenter and all..but my phone needs to be serviced and I'm sure I'll be getting a 4.1 phone when I get it back.
Could I use this JB and restore to 4.01 using the blob or whatever from this phone?
