No one needs to prove you wrong. You like it as it is and I’m happy for you.

The reason I left after using iPhones for 10 years is because iOS is how iOS is now, boring and stagnate.

When there’s intuitive ways to adjust wallpaper, camera settings and icon placement, I may give it
a look again. Until then, I’m staying with the Pixel line.
Interesting. I left iOS during the S7 period for similar reasons.

I hated it. I realized iOS wasn't boring and stagnate it was reliable. These days I want to know that no matter whose device I pick up they will operate similarly. I won't pretend that iOS doesn't need some UX refinement - but I disagree on flexibility. Apple needs to wrangle in control. They gave the consumer to many options and it made some features frustrating to use. They need to step back, think about the best way to do things, and remove all the distractions.

Granular settings for Handoff would be nice. For example, I want Universal Clipboard to work but prefer to not have open apps or tabs shown on other devices :)

Can we get a better iPad app layout? The iPad mini 6 in particular is just…bad. Just fix the spacing please.
If you enable large icons it looks great. Or remove all the icons from the desktop and just use multiple Siri widgets.

Other than the dock (which has large icons enabled), I don't personally use any icons on my home screens. Siri almost always presents the app I want when I want it, but in the cases where she doesn't, I just use spotlight. The only exception to that is Safari bookmarks, which for some reason can't be placed in the app drawer and don't show up in the Siri widget.

That happened because of adding widgets. A lot of people wanted them and thought there were no downsides, and now they realise it’s been a terrible idea because concrete implementations are way more complex than abstract ideas.

I bet the same would happen if (I’m confident that Apple won’t do it) all requests for a desktop-like interface, multitasking, sideloading, etc. for iPad came true.

Major changes to health and notifications is not a good update, we need a huge Ui change we have had the same look for years it’s boring now
This years updates is gonna be exactly like last year, nothing wow or interesting a bunch of small changes, iOS is getting really boring for a decade it hasn’t changed much as in the design, at least give us something fresh, the team at iOS are terrible
No redesign so since iOS 7 it’s exactly the same
How many times are you gonna post the exact same thing?
We get it, the design is basically the same as it’s been for years.
Ever think that’s on purpose?
You know, there are 1 billion iPhone users out there, completely changing the way their phone looks and works overnight isn’t The trademark of a fantastic customer experience.
Most customers want their phone to look, feel, and work exactly the same way that it did yesterday today.
And Apple knows this

No many people are bored of iOS not changing much in a decade, im not saying huge changes but just a ui fresh

iOS is overdue for an overhaul but I really don't trust that they won't create a nightmare of an OS -at least upon release- if they were to go down that road. Apple spends a whole year fixing the bug mess each new iOS release creates and once they've finally made it somewhat stable it's time for the next iOS version and a whole new mess. They should at least focus on making existing stuff more stable, more useable and less messy. The "ecosystem" which is supposed to be one of their top selling points is what is the most broken IMO.

Are you confusing many with most? When you have over half a billion customers, any segment of the user base would qualify as many.

I don’t know a single person in my real life who’s like “you know what my biggest problem with my phone is right now? The icons are boring.”
It’s not a real concern, the vast majority of iPhone customers do not care.
Like I said, they want their phone to look, feel, and work the same way that it did yesterday, today.
iOS 7 already caused A bit of controversy when it was released, I don’t think Apple wants to do that again when their customer base is much, much bigger than it was in 2013.

Apple Music needs to make changes to usability. Simply removing songs from a playlist but not from your library, is frustrating.

I want a synced Notification Center across all my devices! If I get rid of a specific notification on my iPhone, I want the same notification gone from my iPad and Mac. That is all I need
Already works for me with same accounts in use across devices

I’d like there to be a place to see Notification history. Sometimes they just disappear from the Lock Screen and Notification Center or I accidentally remove them and want to go back and see them. It’s pretty rare, but it’s happened.

What I want:

In tvOS I want better profile support. Have an option to ask what profile to use whenever it wakes up from sleep, and enforce user profiles by default for apps. Have it as an option for third party Siri devices. Don't artificially limit that to Airpods.

For MacOS I want better support for widgets in the menu - on the new Macbook Pro, widgets often show up (or rather, don't show) behind the new camera area

For iOS/watchos i want a holistic approach to working out - like Polar, Garmin etc do. Based on activity and past workouts, recommend recovery, hard and easy days etc.

Edit: Forgot one thing - built-in broadcast of HR via Bluetooth from Apple Music , so that training equipment supporting smart Bluetooth can display and track it. Other training watches have it (Polar, Garmin, etc), but for Apple Watch one needs to buy separate, unstable apps to do so - and if you use them, you can't use Apple's training app.

Syncing messages between the iPhone and watch would be a start, years overdue that this has been a stupid problem. Fed up deleting them on multiple devices when there is no reason they can't keep in sync.
It’s criminal it’s still not a thing
