Tree hugger lady from Apple is scowling at you... you should recycle the included charger.

I’ve had people fall over each other to buy these at ⅔ to ¾ of full price on fb marketplace (it’s the same for most Apple Accessories)

I went from the X to the Xs max, after reading posts and having my sister telling me over and over how I was dumb for doing it, I almost cancelled my order. But I didn’t and it came yesterday. I am loving the bigger screen and everything about it.

What was her reasoning? That seems like an odd statement.

The main issues with the bigger phones is it doesn't fit well in some pockets and it's harder for one handed use, but otherwise I don't see any problem. The bigger ones usually have better battery life too.

I’m a bit disappointed. I’ve had the X and picked up the Xs Max through Verizon last night before my flight from the US to London.

I should have checked the phone in store but figured I would set it up later.

The side metal edges closest to the screen are raised and sharp feeling, almost as if the screen isn’t pressed in all the way or the side edges were smoothed down. It’s quite noticeable around the entire screen when brushing my thumb off the side of the screen. For $1300 I expected better. I’ll have to wait until I get back to the states to find a Verizon store to return.

I liked the X’s small size, but the screen was narrow and had the notch, so going from a 6 Plus was a bit of a downgrade in some aspects (not overall).

I have tiny hands for a guy so I’ve had to reach awkwardly sometimes on the Max but I’m not a one handed typer so it’s not cumbersome.

You don’t need to be Bigfoot to use this screen.

As the article says, the Xs has a massive screen but the overall package isn’t bulky or heavy even with a case.

I do a lot of work on my phone as journalist and I’ve found the reading and writer experience better and less cramped. I know Apple didn’t add much but the X was such a step forward I’m not sure what else was out there just a year off the release of the X and in an “S” year.

So I just wasted 250 words to write a comment saying I prefer bigger screens. And to the assuage the concerns of those with small hands.

She thought it was stupid because of the price. I reminded her that I am on the upgrade program, which breaks it into payments. I think she is also upset that I won’t be giving her my X as I am trading it in. I told her she could make the payments on the X if she wants it. But she wants me to make the payments. I don’t want to do that. She isn’t working, she takes care of our 91 year old mom.

I see. Actually, I didn't buy it partially because of the price either, so I can understand that. The better "value" is the Xr, but it has its disadvantages.

But then again, the Xs isn't particularly well priced either. The budget choice would have just been to keep your X, which would mean shouldn't get the X in that scenario either. ;)

Before the upgrade program, I would give her my old phone. Now with the upgrade program, I don’t give her my old phone.

Yeah, with the upgrade program it’s only a couple bucks more a month. It seemed like it was the right move to make. It’s exceeded my expectations in terms of weight/bulk.

Expensive no matter how you buy it, but I use my phone more than anything I own probably.

I don’t know what it is about this phone. It’s the first plus sized phone I can use comfortably, even with one hand. The weight is balanced.

Thanks Apple. Waiting in all day on release day for my XS and no delivery. I found the card from the delivery service on the ground 2 meters from my door saying I wasn't in. You told me Monday was the next option, their website said Saturday, Im still waiting in all day again... with no delivery. Hardly a premium experience when Amazon can deliver me printer paper next day without any problems.

So now Apple owns UPS and FedEx and is responsible for their deliver people’s behavior? What an absurd thing to blame Apple for.

As long as Apple controls the logistics, yes. If it is a private purchase and choosing a particular logistics partner from the list, then the logistics company can be questioned. For the buyer there was no choice, isn't to choose the logistics partner and different rates etc..

Agree. Some can’t seem to get through life unless they’re always always making themselves out to be victims.

Stuff and resulting mistakes happen. Especially when dealing with the manufacturie and shipping of >600,000 complex devices per day. People are deluding themselves believing there is 100% perfection 100% of the time with anything.

Tend to think of a victim as something a bit more significant than someone just waiting for their phone but anyhoo. Apologies for sharing my experience.
