Incredible how the bezels on these phones instantly look dated next to the iPhone X.
Right there with you. With the underwhelming iPhone 8 and the dumb notch at the top of the iPhone X and the ridiculous price, I have no idea what I'm going to do.
I sure hope so, as I will be pre-ordering one on Friday.I have a feeling this thing is going to be pretty easy to get on launch day.Probably a pretty poor launch compared to what Apple is used to as everyone waits for the X.
Besides wireless charging, did anything really change with the iPhone 8? It seems really disappointing...

The stainless steel bezel will scratch on the X
I wish they would have gone with straight black and not space gray
Didn't expect to say this, but I'll probably go for the 8 plus. Bezels don't matter to me, Face ID and the OLED screen are first generation technologies that are bound to be buggy and since the 8 plus has the same CPU and RAM as the X, it'll outperform the X easily because of it's screen. And most apps, apart from the really big ones, are going to take forever to update to the new screen on the X anyway.
Funny I was just thinking about how dated the iPhone X looks compared to my Note 8.
How incredibly underwhelming. I've had every iPhone since the 3 until the 7 and really struggling to find a reason to stay with the iPhone now. Actually, that's a lie, nothing compares to iOS and I don't suppose it ever will, but the days of Apple creating the best iPhone are long gone, IMHO. If only these companies that copy Apple could make a decent OS...
Why is it ironic? These aren’t production ready devices with software that has yet to be tweaked for the release on October.Ironically, Apple failed to get face-to-face at the moment, during a demonstration by Apple's software boss at the annual presentation of new products. A backup test was required.
And such ugly black spot on the display. Ill wait for 2 years

Wonder what they'll call the phones next year? The iPhone 9 and 11? But then the year after that the iPhone 9 couldn't be followed by an iPhone 10 because that's already out. Hmmm...
