THANK YOU for starting this thread. My phone is perfect. Love it, love it, love it. NO dropped calls when I used to get them two or three times a day. BEAUTIFUL display. I dropped it once yesterday onto the hardwood and it didn't break. Used Facetime twice today for actual business calls. I'm in luuuuuuuurv.

ditto. :p

+1 for team happy camper. Also saw someone asking about the speakerphone quality...my iphone 3g's speakerphone was barely useful, but now I'm actually opting to use the iphone 4 speakerphone over my BT speakerphone in my car.

This whole big deal about the antenna and yellow screens is a perfect example of squeaky wheels getting the grease. 1.5 millions units sold through yesterday according to analysts (worldwide figure)...of course several thousand might have some defects. No different from any other product launch. Dead pixels on PSPs anyone?

This phone rocks. The 3G and 3GS were ugly designs in my opinion and gave me no incentive to upgrade (I went from an iPhone 2G on T-Mobile to a MyTouch 3G). After seeing the new design I decided I would make the switch to AT&T for this one. It's gorgeous. The only issue I have is with the proximity sensor but I'm confident that can be fixed with a software update (edit sensitivity, etc.) Despite that problem I still absolutely love this phone.

My iPhone 4 is probably the best product I've ever owned. Zero reception problems, even when I try to make it mess up, and the screen is perfect. Here's to apple!

Some of you may be too new to remember him but a lot of these newbies are like TheSpaz reincarnated.

I have no issues on my iPhone 4, my friends don't and looks like a thread full of people don't either.

The 14 hour walk-in wait was worth it. I'm happy with how easy it was for me to obtain a fully working iPhone once I finally got into the Apple store (transfer my old Verizon number and move my new iPhone into an existing AT&T account (I was so afraid I would get denied for not being the account holder)). I've had no yellow screen or reception issues. I've even tried to recreate the reception issue by holding it the way people have the problem/using both hands to do it and still haven't seen my phone will less than 5 bars. I hope it stays this well (at least until I drop it).

Pluswan for perfect iPhone! LOVE mine. Thank goodness it is perfect in every way. I was so paranoid the hours leading up to the delivery. I was sure I'd get a yellow splotchy screen with horrible reception. Phew!

Finally a thread without people complaining.

My iPhone is great. Best piece of technology ever.

Hopefully I will same the same when around 2pm if I'm lucky.

Good luck!!!

3 days of agony due to the credit check but now: I GOT IT :D

Unfortunatly I have to wait until Tuesday to have the service on my phone as I transfer from O2 to Vodafone.

No yellow spots (even tho I know they should go anyway);
I made a call through Skype and the proximity sensor was working properly;
On wifi 2x faster in loading on safari compared to my iPhone 3G;
Doesn't drop wifi signal from the top corner, and I can't verify the bottom corner for the networl yet, but the demo in store was working fine without problem. I'm not worried about it.

IT SO GOOOOD!!

I had reserved an iPhone 4 at my local Apple Store on the 15th but I was seriously considering waiting a few weeks (or even months) before picking one up due to the yellow screen issues and especially the antenna/service issues. All day yesterday I was uncertain what I would do. Plus all of my co-workers who were getting iPhones had to wait in horrendous lines for several hours, etc. I finally decided that I would just take my chances and buy it, since I was without cell phone service and borrowing a friend's phone at the time.

I was amazed when I walked over to the Apple Store around 6:30 and the only line was for people who hadn't reserved a phone. The whole thing took 10 minutes, and my screen and reception are flawless. This is seriously the best piece of technology I have ever owned. :)

savage!

savage... what mall were you at exactly?!?!

People With Perfect Reception Read!!!!

Please do me a favor, as this will tell me if certain phones have some type of coating that insulates the antennas.

Place your iP4 on its side with volume buttons up. Now place a nickel across the seam. Wait 60 seconds and tell me what it did. I want a phone that doesn't have a problem. My reception goes away if I hold it "wrong".

Yeah I'm patiently awaiting my phone condom, so afraid I'm going to drop this puppy.

I will say that last night I was at an open area mall that had wide Wifi coverage and I was driving around (very slowly) while using Facetime with my buddy on the opposite side of the US.

It was so awesome!
