Are you looking at the Device Account Number (instead of the credit card #)? What makes it "incorrect"?

Tested at the vending machine at work 20 feet from my desk. Worked perfectly. This will be bad for my waistline.

If we could skip the PIN step for debit purchases, I would be happier, but that's a minor annoyance.

that should go away in places that implement it, it's against the contactless specs. authentication should be performed only on mobile device, with touch id in the case of Apple Pay.

in most places already, using Apple Pay with debit card doesn't require a PIN, walgreens seems to be one of the largest exception, I am expecting this to change fairly quickly

the last 4 digits of the card it shows as on file is not correct. it is a card ive used before but its not the current card on file

Are you sure you are looking at the last 4 of the actual card # and not the DAN (Device Account #)? Which is also 4 digits?

Quite shocking really how one can work in the retail/sales/service industry and not know about Apple Pay or mobile payments in general, especially at a big one like Panera (and apparently Walgreens from a similar story I heard on MR). Customers shouldn't be chastised for using a perfectly legitimate method of payment.

Android people. Ugh.

Used it at McD's today, worked like a charm. Though my amex card won't list how much the transaction was for right now on passbook (and apparently amex will let you see your past transactions for a certain amount, apple pay or not, on passbook).

Used it three times already. Worked like a charm on a vending machine yesterday. At McDonald's this morning, it looked like it worked the first time, but the cashier said it failed - worked fine on the 2nd attempt (and I did verify I wasn't double charged).

Used it later this morning at Bartell Drugs. It worked, but the terminal asked for a signature afterwards, which it isn't supposed to do.

But all in all, I'm quite pleased with it. I'm sure it will only get better as time goes on.

Was it over $25? $50? Here in NY, they don't require a signature unless it's over $25 so I'm wondering if that will be the same case with NFC payments. I'm sure it's something that will iron itself out but I'm nit surprised it's needed for large payments.

All the CVS' I go to have a terrible POS. Hit finish, then credit on the self-checkout POS. Swipe a credit card, then hit credit on the terminal.

Alas, :apple:Pay accepted as soon as I hit finish, it's like magic.

The charge was $22.57. It wasn't a big deal to sign, it just shouldn't be required with Apple Pay. Like you say, I'm sure those little details will get ironed out over time.

...has violent diarrhea?

Apple Pay wouldn't work for me today. Worked at a cvs yesterday but not at an airport store. It recognized the nfc but after it read my thumb print it asked me to do everything over again. I'll try again once my plane lands. I could have the billing address issue others have since I changed settings to use my contact info after the first time using it at cvs...
