I preordered mine, a 64 GB Black Wifi only, on March 15th at the Florence, KY BBY location. No call yet. Keeping fingers crossed it's some time later today!

Just saw that 2 Best Buys in the NYC area have my model in stock, but it's not the one I reserved at. FML.
I just picked it up. Here's hoping that there's nothing wrong with it. Got a call a few minutes later from another bb in my area saying that my wife's 64gb AT&T white is ready for pickup.
I put my reservation in on Sunday the 13th for a 16gb black wifi Ipad. There were 20 in line ahead of me. On Friday the 18th, I got the call it was in. Unfortunately, on Wednesday, I happened to find a 32gb black wifi at Target. So I canceled my preorder and got a refund for my reservation (gift card). They obviously never took my name off the sheet when they refunded my money. Ah well.
Yea, it was more expensive than I wanted, but the good thing is that I got one and I am happy. The next guy down on the list probably was happy too when I canceled my reservation.

all these post are giving me a bit of hope,i really hope my best buy gets some in today, if you got your ipad and your still on this forum which to be honest i dont see why you would but just in case, what was the time you guys got your calls, and any defects with your unit?

Still waiting in line for a white 16gb wifi. I'm first in line. I hope best buy is actually honoring reserves, cause I see some NYC availability in some stores, just not mine. If not I'm gonna go running around to every best buy.
I reserved mine on Saturday March 12th. I got the 16GB Black wifi and I believe I was 5th total on the list but the 4 before me might not have been the same model. I got my call today at 12:45 pm saying my iPad had arrived and I had 48 hours to pick it up. I've completely inspected my iPad and there is not any damage that I can see. The only thing I haven't checked for yet is if it has any kind of backlight issue.
I guess I had some good luck, got my iPad from Best Buy. Has your Apple one came in yet?
Originally reserved a 16gb black iPad about a week ago, but have not received a call as of yet.
Made my bi-weekly lunchtime stop at my local Best Buy today, and the guy in the store is telling me they don't expect to get any for another 6 to 8 weeks!!
I'm a patient guy, but come on! That can't be right can it? Maybe they're just telling people that so they will quit asking.

At least 3 Nashville area BBs got deliveries today, just not the one I ordered from.
Went by the BB closest to my office that appeared to have 20+ in a cage and some they showed me not reserved. Just not the 32GB black i wanted. People were there picking them up.

Its good to hear some folks are getting in their reservations. I'm going on vacation on saturday and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for my call. have a 64gb black wifi reserved in Salem,NH. I'm like 2nd in line from 3/12. Not a peep so far.
I forgot to state that I reserved on 3/14. My order on apple.com was placed on 3/11 at 7 PM, and it won't ship until 4/1.
They called me around 5:30-6pm on Friday night. I had until 9pm (closing) on Saturday to pick it up - so just a warning, NOT the 48 hours some people have reported. Just until closing the following day. Of course, I ran there as soon as I got the voice mail at 8pm Friday.
The only "defect" in mine is a very small backlight bleed that is only visible if you do the dark room/black screen test - I've watched letterboxed Netflix movies in the dark and not seen it. Trust me, if you have to do the test in order to notice it it's really not an issue.
Just picked up my 64GB after getting call this morning. Ordered on Sat after release and was #3 on list. They appear to have received. about a dozen or so in of various models. It is syncing as we speak and so far no problems. There is a small minor bleed in the corner but does not seem to be an issue.

Hopefully no one else in the IN, KY, OH tri-state area wanted a black 64 GB wifi only model from that BBY.. otherwise I'll be waiting at least another couple weeks.

I had been watching Best Buy, Target, and Wal Mart inventories online (links on another thread here). I had been checking several times a day. I checked Best Buy this morning, there were still none. Checked a few hours later, and the status showed available in store only. I had my wife go by and check if we were in this shipment. She talked to the manager and told him about some of the things posted on these threads about BB not sticking to their pre-order program. I got a call 45 minutes later to come get it.

I called Best Buy at Arrowhead (In Glendale, AZ) and the rep was the nicest person ever to me she indicated that they are not going by whom was entered on the list first, (i.e. meaning no matter who requested which model everyone is on one fat list). They have it broken down to specific model and whom is on the list for that specific model (i.e. John Smith And Tom, Dick and Harry might all be requesting an iPad 2 32 GB White AT&T) Depending if John Smith put his request in first before Tom, Dick and Harry then he would be first on that list. Anyhow my point being that I asked her if they received any shipments and she indicated yes. She was also nice enough to look me up on their waiting list to see how far behind I was from everyone else.
