I just know they only got a few, and they called me between 5:30-6pm so I assume the shipment probably arrived within like an hour or so of then.

No worries, lots of people enjoy hating others so they don't have to look at their own lives.
The reason others don't get what they want is the system is flawed. Plain & simple.
I got a call today from BB in Tampa, FL for a white 16gb wifi model. I hope this means that shipments will start rolling out faster this weekend!
It looks like only 16gb wifi models are getting shipped to Best Buy stores. Doesn't sound too assuring for us 64gb reservers.

If it makes you feel any better, I reserved a 16 gb at BB on 3/12 and haven't heard from them. Have you checked target? Seems like target is getting almost exclusively non-16 gb iPads

no worries, at least you got what you wanted. For some reason it seems like BB is just getting 16gb in stock. I haven't heard anything about 32gb yet. Enjoy!

Reserved a 64GB white wifi last sunday at the BB in century city, CA. I am 4th in line for that model. No call yet.
Still nothing here 16gb black. Reserved it last Friday at 6:30 after my lacrosse practice. I just called them today and they said that they have no idea when they will be getting another shipment in. I haft to say this is the hardest apple product to get so far.

hi new to the forums just had to join, i havent been able to find anyone who has reserved a 64gb wifi in white or black at best buy and its driving me crazy im on the top 5 list for a 64gb black wifi at my best buy and i live like 15 minutes away from cupertino, come on apple i would assume you would atleast make sure the people who live in the same area your company is located at would get access to your products, if steve jobs or anyone from apple comes to eat at my restaurant im gonna make them wait in line and then tell them sorry we're out of food but you can come line up everyday in the chance you might get some. i bought the first gen ipad from best buy and luckily i was able to return it for a full refund so i cant afford to buy an ipad from anywhere else but best buy. alright i got my one week of anger building out now sorry i had to take it out on macrumors

I stopped in today to check on reservations. It seems my Best Buy got 16gb models in so far (I am waiting for 32gb).
I did get a kick out of the fact that the girl told me "I am pretty sure they are coming in order, so since we got 16's in, the 32 should be next." Although she was totally ad-libbing, I give her points since she said it w/ such conviction.

better than what i got at least apple says they will be getting a shipment, Best Buy's response is No shipment today. Sorry, I can't tell you about past shipments, No idea about future shipments, we will get them eventually and we will call you. When I ask about how the reservations work the lady says I don't know how they are doing pre-orders we are just not taking anymore at this time. I stated at the beginning I had a pre-order.
BUT I stay extra nice so they won't delete me from the pre-order list or "lose me," though they don't know my name. just in case they have caller id haha.Though to be honest it's not fair for me to flame best buy, because I believe they really don't know and she is just being honest. I am just frustrated. I wish Apple would be more open to the distributors.

Been looking around online and found the website Milo.com, looks like it searches all Best Buys within a 50 mile radius for available stock. From what I can tell its fairly accurate but I've called the few best buys to ask and they have said they were "out". Might be a good indicator of what iPad's your Best Buy is receiving to fill pre-orders.

Well I just walked into my local bb just to talk to someone in person rather then getting some random sales person on the phone. Apparently they have not received one shipment from apple since last Friday, that's just stupid! Apple is making thousands of iPads a day and they can't manage to get at least the best buys and apple stores stocked once a week!

Just checked milo.com. According to the site, there are two locations by me that have them in stock! I reserved at BB in Princeton, NJ (on Mon 3/14 approx. 3:30/4) a 16 gb + 3g in white with AT&T and they have a 16 gb + 3g in white from Verizon. This is giving me hope that the 16gb white with 3g isn't too popular with the reservations and I will get the call soon. I wish the best of luck to everyone waiting and I'm sure the wait will be well worth it!
No, the local BB store has only gotten two small shipments in since the first day and all were WIFI only.
Can someone who works in retail please fill me in on how this process works? Does BB request a certain amount of iPads (like what they have reservations for), or does Apple just send whatever they want whenever they want? I'm confused as to how a few just randomly show up on one random day. Surely BB is communicating with Apple to restock, right?

im not to surprised if stores wont get any shipments on sunday but after talking to most of the best buys in the san francisco bay area, no one has received any shipments since the original shipment, thats pretty ridiculous no one has even reported getting in 2 or 3 units like others have posted, where in the world is my black 64gb wifi
