I think it's the drive upgrades that will make it ship later because it's another stage in customizing it.
Edit: Guess not. I didn't see zifty's post till now. Hopefully mine will be prepared for shipment later on today!
Considering it was 2am in China when my CTO with an SSD went from "not yet shipped" to "preparing to ship", it makes me think they're building certain configurations in the US. Either that, or they're working the Chinese around the clock, or there's a big lag in updating the status.
