Well, you can get a 7200 RPM drive from say, Newegg, that's probably better quality and cheaper. It may not have apple's warranty, but it will come with one from the manufacturer.

Yeah I've just never done anything like that, seems nice to just have it all in one ready to go package, and not have to swap it out if I ever bring it in for service.

How can you guys stand to wait for the MBP to be delivered? I was going to just get it shipped to me, but decided it would help my sanity to just drive 1hr to the apple store and pick one up... Soo thankful there's one somewhat nearby. And can't wait till saturday when I get to go get it!

Woohoo! It's in Alaska now! Well my updated shipping info says 'Scheduled Delivery Date: 30/04/2010 (Updated) '. So I still have a small glimmer of hope that it'll arrive sometime tomorrow.

Please, tell me if your delivery is still updated to be tomorrow because I believe that mine is in the same flight as yours according to the following latest tracking:

It still has it estimated at tomorrow, I have my doubts but I received my last shipment at their estimate. I'm in Ontario, in the GTA to be more specific so hopefully it can make its way here by tomorrow.
