Has your MBP shipped yet?

Since I paid the extra $24 for fast shipment, I am thinking that Fedex will have a special flight from China to San Diego tonight. Then tomorrow, they will helicopter my MBP to my driveway for delivery. Does anybody see any flaw in my logic. If so, I will just have another beer. :)

My MBP prepared for shipping today and I live in SD and paid for fast shipping so my cpu will be on the same "special flight" as yours, yay! ;) I'll have a beer or four with ya.

Look at this! As I hoped, my packaged made it on to the FDX48 fight from Ank to EWR.

I have to give a huge thanks to psychos who enlightened us all on the ins and outs of fedex transit routes.

I realize all this is totally obsessive and geeky, but boy is it fun to track!!

ordered mine on the 23rd of april @ 245am california time and it just turned to preped for shipping!

danm....this wait is killing me! what to do while waiting?
 
Mine just overnight to prepared for shipping! Ordered it on the 20th 4:00pm.

Does this mean it wont be posted until Monday though!??

Your welcome to join the party. Fedex called me and said they are using a fighter jet to get my mbp to me as fast as possible. Then they are using Marine One to get it to my house.

Prepared for shipment! woot!!

No, it has not shipped. They called and told me that they launched a rocket to get it faster to me. One more beer and I think they will use the Star Trek transporter.
 
Typing this from my new 13" MacBook Pro! Love the look of the LED backlit display. This notebook flies! Hope everyone gets theirs soon!

Ordered mine on the 22nd also and my i7 15'' 4GB, Glossy HD is prepared for shipment as well :)
 
Ordered on the 23rd around 4:00, still waiting for it to be prepared. hi-res AG with iWork preinstalled. I hope that doesn't cause extra delay. o.o;;;
 
My order changed to "prepared to ship" earlier this evening, but I didn't expect it to ship until Monday since I figured FedEx didn't ship on weekends. But I just got an email saying it shipped, so maybe I was wrong :D

Mine shows being here on Monday. That's right in the middle of Apple's estimate. Good enough for me! I take back 53% of all the stuff I said!
 
Bit frustrating to see those 15,4"/500GB 7200 RPM/HR Glossy orders made after mine to begin ship. Ordered one of those on Friday the 23rd and there's been no activity on my order.

Might be due to the different unibody required for Nordic keyboard layout.
 
it says preped for shipping now.

but i checked the bank account and it shows i got all my money back(dont know when it happened though)! what does that mean?
 
Hot-damn it shipped! I came home this evening checked. Still preparing to ship. Watched a few episodes of Weeds, came back after seeing my girlfriend out the door, and saw that it was shipped. It "Left FedEx origin facility" at 11:53am Shanghai time. It's 3:05pm there right now so that was like 4 hours ago. I wonder why I only now got the notification.

Anyway, this shows that they do ship on Saturdays. Suhweet!!!!! HOpefully, since I got 2-3 day it will be here by either Monday or Tuseday.

Well, don't hope that you will wait as long as me. I ordered a similar machine (difference: 17" HI-res glossy) the 16th og April. I still see the estimated shipping is 7 business days. But that 11 business days since now? :( Today, there is still no word and it's not yet shipped, this sucks ! :( Where is it Apple? :confused:

That would make sense. Does that cost you more money? Maybe they are trying to find someone who knows what keys go where.

Does "received after FedEx cutoff" mean it will be in China 'till Monday?

Looks like our MBP are in the same truck.. Mine left origin at same time. Finally in the home stretch.. Been a long wait.

Not directly due to the layout, but the prices for the MBPs are approximately the same in euros as in USD, even though they should be bit lower even after taxes. For example the 15,4" i7 costs 2199 euros, even though converting from the USD and applying the taxes it should be somewhere around 2000 euros.

That's of course possible... :) However they have in the past known what's the correct layout, as I'm writing this from a Late 2008 unibody.
