my carrier info has changed from distribution center to TNT within 24h. The number then also changed, so your number is probably just apples delivery reference number.

fab ill keep an eye on it im guessing it will be Monday before it happens thanks though!

That's because the order hasn't actually been given to the carrier yet - when it does, the name of the carrier should appear instead of the "UK distribution center"-thing, and you should be able to track it until its final destination.

As far as I know, the numbers starting with 81 belong to UPS - but I'm not really sure. It's worth a try on all the major carrier websites, though - for example UPS and TNT.

thanks for that man tried tnt and ups but nothing on there according to the tracking widget no idea if its right but im kind of guessing it is
 
How long does it take for "Prepared for shipment" to turn to "Shipped" ?

When I woke up this morning the status showed "Prepared for shipment." It still does after 10 hours.
 
Mine just landed in Anchorage....

I have been a "Waiter for Arrandale" since July or August of last year. I was about to buy a MBP then but a sales person in a Victorinox store in Soho NYC told me a tale about Arrandale and I decided to wait...

My machine just got cleared through Anchorage and is probably on its way to Memphis and then to New Jersey. I should see it by mid-week. Unfortunately, I need to be in the office almost every day next week so I will have to arrange to pick it up at the Fedex depot nearby...

My excitement is mounting. It has been a long wait....

I heard (somewhere on these boards I think) the shipping cut off was 3pm. I work somewhere where we ship things on a daily basis and that is the case there as well. However it does seem odd it would get there ~15min prior to that and not have made it. I'm in the same boat as you though, mine got scanned at 2:46 that same day. I bet they have a big pallet of our CTO MPB's and just scan them as a whole. Est delivery day is the 5th. I was hoping to get it by the 4th.

Oh well it will get here when it gets here.

Estimated delivery May 4th - but I'm hoping for May 3rd ;)

It took me about 12hours for the prepared for shipment status to change to shipped. That was yesterday, so they must work weekends!! :)
 
I'm in (Brisbane) Australia and mine was shipped last night at 7PM. This is the status as of midday the next day. It was shipped via TNT International Express.

Mine was there all day. in the late afternoon, there was another update stating it has not reached the sort facility in Elizabeth, NJ. I called Fedex and they wouldn't let me pick up from Newark. It has to reach the regional hub which is Branchburg, NJ for me. If it can get to Branchburg on monday morning, I will pick it up on my lunch break.

Mine got owned as well. Est. delivery is the 6th. That would be an entire 7 days since my order. Not fast, not too slow.. but pisses me off a bit seeing that I only changed the screen to matte. Was expecting to get it shipped by the 4th.

It is a little after 2:30am Monday morning in Shanghai. For those of us on the west side of the country who have gotten their tracking numbers for their MBPS still in Shanghai, I think that means we may get our MBPs as early as Tuesday. By the time it is in Anchorage we will still be asleep (tonight) and leaving early Monday morning from the ANC to the lower 48.
 
mine has been stuck in memphis due to whether for a day and a half. it's still set to arrive tuesday by 4:30 so...
 
When my MBP finally leaves Shanghai (hopefully sometime this evening or later tonight) will the tracking info have a flight number? If not how does one obtain the flight number if available?

I ordered on Monday April 19th - It's been sitting in Livonia MI, since Sat. UPS - No UPS delivery on weekend for Apple's basic shipping. So I been like way loony cuz the UPS Livonia place is only 12 miles from where I live in Keego Harbor MI. My MBP has jus been sitting so close to me - this weekend!! Rawrrr!!!! So I should have tomorrow morn! Fab ... way groovatine! It's been 2 weeks to the day for my delivery! Can't wait to fire up Adobe CS5 and get to my projects in Logic Pro! :apple: How I Love My Macs! :apple: For me the wait is always worth it! ... gone totally loony waiting! haHa heHe Haha! :D

Newark !!

My MBP arrived in the Garden State of NJ at 5 this morning.... (Fedex facility at Newark)

I haven't tracked a consumer product like this since I bought a custom MINI Cooper S (JCW) and tracked it from the plant in Oxford by means of video cams in the UK, sites that track cargo ships by satellite, the video cams in Halifax and other harbors it transited, and finally the cams near the docks of Jersey where it unloaded. The only time I lost track of it was after it arrived in the US and was on the way to the dealer... I had a photo of the car carrier that my MINI was in on the wall of my office for the voyage...

Back to my Mac. I am not always this compulsive...

Could be here tomorrow or Tuesday....

I am doing my best to stay distracted today....:eek:

Fedex from China

I looked at Flight aware http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/FDX and could not find a single Flight from China to Alaska today, Sunday. But I am not familiar enough with the site to be sure if I am doing it right. Maybe someone else will take a look.
