Has your MBP shipped yet?

I called FexEx International & they confirmed delivery to me by 10:30 am tomorrow!

I'm only 4 hours away from Memphis so I figured its on a truck towards me; but, my delivery date is still April 21. I called FedEx and they said it is likely that the package will be in St. Louis either tonight or tomorrow morning and that I could pick it up if I wanted to. Otherwise, they would keep the package and wouldn't deliver till wednesday.

As crazy as it seems, it might show up in Memphis first... FedEx is on a hub-and-spoke model, so most packages in their system will cross Memphis even if it seems really out of the way in terms of the final destination. I know someone else saw a MBP go from Oakland to Memphis today -- and they live in San Jose. It might be that they "un-bundle" the palette of orders in Memphis to separate them into individual packages. Let us know what your next scan is when you get one!

looks that way for mine. it just left alaska headed to memphis, even though i'm in portland, oregon (it's having to fly over me to get there). no worries -- they say i'll have it by thursday, but i bet i'll get it on tue/wed.

I also ordered a 17" i7 on tuesday and mine just finally went to Prepared for Shipment sometime today.:D

Mine package also went Shanghai -> Guangzhou

missed call from UPS!

I'm In Atlanta, mine is shipping UPS, my status has been "in Transit" scanned at origin Shanghai since about 10 am Eastern time, yesterday, expected delivery Wednesday, but I had a missed call from an unknown number and when I googled it, it was UPS??????? My credit card does not show that it has been charged yet.
 
I ordered a 13" on Friday the 16th and my projected arrival date is 5th or 6th May? Are they kidding me??? I was already really disappointed by the minor update, and now my first Mac ever takes 3 weeks to be shipped to Switzerland? Is this normal?

from what i've been reading here, it seems that a vast majority, if not all, european orders are getting early may for their delivery, presumably because of the volcano. As that situation resolves itself, it may be reasonable to expect updated, sooner, shipping times.

Its because of the volcano....airspace is closed in a lot of parts of europe.
 
ordered a 17" i5 on Thursday - based in UK. Status has changed tonight to ' prepared for shipment' surely it cant take a whole 10/11 days for it to arrive to the uk :confused:

That's TERRIBLE news! My package just arrived in my city (or presumably arrived..the flight consistent with the departure time landed but FedEx hasn't updated the site yet).

My delivery date is Thursday 4:30pm! It's just going to sit a few miles away for 4 days?! Do you know if I can go pick it up?

Also - to the person who posted saying that they were told that their package would be delivered early: did you get expedited shipping?

Mine is also Thursday by 4:30pm but I've been googling and found this thread from a couple years ago so I'm not giving up on it being delivered tomorrow (if it makes it to my city tonight).
 
Just a random question, but have any of you guys been charged for your macbook pro yet? When i first ordered, the money was put on hold at my bank but now it is just sitting in my account with my macbook almost here.

Wooohooo on the plane to Tampa. Cross fingers for at latest tuesday and not wednesday like estimated

I have expedited shipping and estimated delivery says Tuesday. However, I called fedex and asked if it can stop in chicago because most packages stop there before coming to Wisconsin (where I live) and because I wanted to go to Chicago tonight and I'd be back tuesday morning in time for the package to arrive.....However, fedex told me since its express its going straight to Wisconsin from tennessee (it wont make any other stops), so do you guys think it could come tomorrow instead of tuesday? For those who has ordered in the past and got a day earlier, did it ever update online on tracking update that it would be arriving a day earlier? If this is the case, I'd rather stay here instead of going to Chicago then.
