Not my usual sucky FedEx guy; dunno if it's just his day off, or if he's gone. Even after I told this guy that it was awesome it made it from Shanghai in < 24 hours and a day early, he apologized that it wasn't delivered by 10:30. :)

This is interesting. I got no updates whatsoever all day yesterday after my MBP went to Memphis. The line that is bolded is the one that appeared even at midnight my time last nite (when I last checked). Then today all of a sudden it's here in San Diego and out for delivery. So for those of you who don't see any sort of update, you may still get yours within the next 24h...

You know, I'm hoping I get something of the same. Mine has been "in transit" from Shanghai for nearly 24 hours now.

I can't believe it! Apple Support told me YESTERDAY it was prepared for shipping and would ship within 24 hours. So much for that...
 
Question for all Germans in this thread who ordered from apple and paid by bank transfer:

Did you receive a confirmation email from apple after they received your money? My money should be on their bank account (Bibit B.V.) for two days already but I still didn't receive any confirmation. Is this normal?

Still no sign of UPS81, I'm guessing there is some sort of data gap and that's the flight it its on.

Edit: UPS81 has popped up with an expected arrival time in Anchorage for this afternoon, and an unknown departure time form Shanghai. I'm betting this is just lack of data on flightaware's part. If 81 follows it's typical timing, it will show up in Louisville around 11pm tonight, leaving a pretty slim window for UPS to get my MBPro to Vancouver tomorrow.

As of 9:28am this morning, the shipment was in Louisville. I originally had a Thursday delivery date, then last weekend, my tracking status indicated a delivery date of Wednesday. Now the delivery date is gone.

Just wondered if there were any other buyers in the Ontario area who bought CTO MacBook Pros and are seeing similar or different shipping results.

My computer was on the same flight as you. Every time the plane lands, the estimated delivery date seems to drop. When it departs again, it'll pop back up. I hope they fly from Kentucky to Calgary, cuz having to route through Tornoto would suck.

Lucky you.. my MBP was apparently on the same track, and I live in Somerville, but somehow you blew through customs faster than me! Mine is identical to this until last night, and now I'm stuck on my second int'l shipment release..:

ANC customs

So I went down to the ANC hub this morning since my MBP is sitting there and it didn't appear that it went out on a truck this morning. So a very nice lady said that it hadn't cleared customs yet and when it did that they would call me and I could come pick it up.

...........It's only 1000 am here so I'm hopeful there's a chance for today instead of tomorrow.

i got my mbp 13" 2.4 this afternoon overnighted from macmall, however i have to wait until my 750gb wd hdd gets here to get up and running
 
BTW, total non-sequitur...did anyone try to downloade the fedex app for your iphone? what a joke. I thought it would be a decent way to track you package and get push notifications on your phone....total waste. it was free, and overpriced.
 
Man i ordered mine thursday - said expect shipping in 3 business days and today would be 3 full days yet not shipped! The other night it updated to 'prepared for shipment' but its gone back to not yet shipped. meh

Mine still says not yet shipped.

Called apple and they are clueless. Yet I see others here that have ordered after me having theirs prepared to ship.

Apple's order processing system sucks and they lie to you about how long it takes to get your order.
I am supposed to receive it Friday and it still has not even prepared to ship.
 
Mine was shipped yesterday and arrived today. Typing on it now, lovely step up from my iBook G4 :D

Love it. 13" base model, ordered on the 14th, UK. Predicted delivery date was the 22nd - 23rd.
