Has your MBP shipped yet?

You're not alone, JimKirk. My order is also listed as "Not yet shipped" despite Apple saying it would get shipped within 24 hours yesterday (it has been almost 48 hours now). It's so frustrating!
 
Wow, it looks like mine arrived in Anchorage in the middle of the night? Did all the other "3:20"'s get this result as well?

Yay, it's finally in the US! :)

It's been about 7 hours since it landed in Anchorage, but there hasn't been any other updates, such as customs clearing or something. Is this normal?

I see the same on my tracking log, so you can assume that it is quite normal, after all it's still 11 in the morning in Anchorage and the packages have still to pass customs (there have been scans once that is done in the past). Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow morning, so something should be happening pretty soon.

My tracking info just got updated:

Apr 20, 2010 1:36 PM Departed FedEx location MEMPHIS, TN

FlightAware doesn't have a flight from Memphis to DFW on or around 1:36 PM. I'm thinking that I'm on a truck from Memphis to DFW since it only takes 7 1/2 hours to drive. If my hypothesis is correct I should have an arrival scan around 9:15PM tonight. This all fits in well with the scheduled delivery on or before 10:30 AM tomorrow, April 21.

It's possible that those who live too far away from Memphis to have their package trucked to them and still delivered by 10:30 AM tomorrow had their packages flown out of Memphis last night and thus were able to be delivered early.

I got exactly the same thing; well confusing! I called them to bump up the specs (due to nice little earner from lotto) but they said it was too late... oh well, no biggy. I guess all I can do is hold tight just like everyone else.
 
Do they ever send you an email to let you know the item is now shipping, I ordered yesterday and am wondering if it is still being processed or if it is actually entered into the Fedex system yet.
 
Has anyone ordered a CTO model within the last few days, which says it takes 5-7 business days to ship, had any experience with a faster ship time?

I'm just curious since my CTO machine was ordered on 4/16 and it's still 'not yet shipped', which is entirely acceptable.

check it again as mine has shifted back to 'prepared for shipment'!
 
"Shipment delayed due to weather conditions". The reason must be the god damn ash cloud here in Europe :cool: Well, I guess the i5 HR Antiglare will arrive sooner or later anyway :rolleyes:
 
flightaware vs others

I think my computer is on FDX90, but I was confused all morning because FlightAware didn't list the flight as departed until several hours after takeoff. In fact, it doesn't seem to include the first half of the flight at all. Haven't seen anyone else on the 11:22 but be aware that this might cause confusion.

Note that it only lists an 8 hour duration.

EDIT: hmm, the flightAware site now appears to have the correct information on FDX90.

I have a CTO with the 5 to 7 day ship time and asked the same question earlier, but I think most people on here are those who have an item that has shipped, but is floating around somewhere in UPS and FedEx land.
 
For those who have the 0320 April 19 'In Transit - Shanghai' timestamp and whose shipments are in Anchorage right now, it looks like they're beginning to move. Mine just cleared customs, so it looks like it's going to be heading out in a few hours (hopefully).
 
Mine has been sitting in Memphis since 3 am today under Int'l shipment release. At least it's in the US , but why no movement today :confused:
 
mine arrived today in canada via ups express. i must say i am incredibly impressed with ups and how fast they turned it around and got it to me today!

Good to hear, no movement so far on my packet up there. I wonder if they'll route mine through memphis or if it'll be a direct flight to Minneapolis where I live as it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow before 10:30.

I'm in the exact same boat. Ordered 12:40pm PDT 4/16. I am hoping to see a status change in the next day or two, Friday at the latest (that's hoping I am on the shorter end of 5-7 business days before shipping).
 
Mine is still roaming...

My CTO MBP 15.4" that has landed with FDX90 last night is still roaming around on the road. :(

It departed last morning 3:17, and nothing changed on FedEx Tracking.
Still 'In transit'
Where is my MBP going lol
(Destination must be a Statesboro, GA.)

lucky! mine has been sitting in louisville since this morning despite us having the same Origin scan and departure scan from Anchorage! argh
 
I just got the following mail:

"Dear ***** *****,

We are happy to inform you that your order is in transit however we are experiencing some
unexpected delays in delivering your order.

This is due to ongoing air traffic disruptions across Europe.

Your business is very important to us and we regret any inconvenience this may cause."

Is this something they send to everyone, or does it actually mean my mbp is delayed?
 
Funny...I just bought an iPad and 10 minutes later my MBP ordered turned to "Prepared for Shipment"...lol

Can't wait to get mine.

Same here. My MBP sat in China for 3 days. Sat in Anchorage for 2 days, and is now just sitting around all day in Louisville. I'm located just outside the greater Toronto area. Still waiting to see the MBP enter onto Canadian soil.
