Still saying "Not Yet Shipped". Estimated date hasn't changed either, still expecting on April 27th / 28th.

Highly improbably that it will arrive then...should I call Apple or leave it be??

Same as mine but I put 8GB in, I'm waiting still, seems many people are in the same situation, the post further above says things should be moving as of today, So i'll give it over the weekend.

Does anyone know if UPS works through the night? Apple said it should be delivered by today, and it just landed in my city at 3 in the morning.

What are the chances of me getting it today?

I asked them to hold it the facility which is sadly 20 minutes away, i called and they said it is there, yet the tracking number says its "on truck out for delivery" Guess i'll continue my annoyance to fedex and call once more before i leave to make sure i'm not taking 50 min of my time for nothing. Very excited

Ordered a 17" i7 MBP on Tuesday of this week and my status has changed to "Prepared for Shipment". This doesn't mean much because things switch around so often, but the reason I am bringing it up is because my shipment date is 5-7 Business days, so hopefully those who were expecting a long delay might have some hope that theirs will soon be leaving China.

my 15'' i5 MBP came really fast, I ordered it last thursday afternoon around 12 and it came next morning at 8:30. Maybe I'm just lucky? :p

So if you check out a BTO in United states. Does the "ships in 1 -3 business days". Seem like that is not really accurate information, and it will take longer ?

My BTO was 5-7 days and I'm in the US and that was ordered on Tuesday the 20th. It's at "Prepared for Shipment" Status now. So my hope is that it will be shipped sooner that the original estimate.

Just picked mine up from fedex, and typing on it now as i update software. The nearly 4 month wait is finally over! Hallelujah!

I'v never owned a mac before and wondering two things, are the updates on the website already installed when the computer arrives or do I have to update personally.

And secondly, it has been sitting at ANC since 4:54 EST yesterday and hasn't moved, is it customs that is causing this delay?

my initial estimated delivery date from Apple was April 27-29 (CTO) ordered on the 16th. It came early this morning April 23, still learning the new OS as this is my first mac

Thank you for this post. This is the kind of info we need moving around here.

I think if fedex is your courier, they don't update often. My mbp sat in NJ for 32 hours, but arrived ontime.

FedEx flights out of ANC usually leave between 2:30 and 5pm Alaska time although i do see planes in the air early am but they may be heading east rather than down to the states. Customs usually clears the stuff as it needs to move along. If you had a flight that came in at 1254 AST it very likely would not have cleared customs before heading down HOWEVER, I'd double check your times because I've never heard of a 1pm flight arrival in ANC for FedEx

This is what the tracking says and I personally am not familiar with ANC. I did however notice on Flightaware that there are no scheduled FedEx flights from ANC to IND today whatsoever.

I ordered the same day you did and it still says Not Yet Shipped. Hopefully the status changes today. :D

What did you customize? I am assuming you didn't get a hi-res screen...
17" only comes in High Res, I got an i7 Glossy (traded in my 17" matte at the store). The upgrade was an i7 processor. I had to get it on-line because the store doesn't carry it in a Glossy monitor. The 5-7 day wait is because of the processor. You can pretty much tell which parts have a low stock by doing a config on their on-line store.
