I may have some good news this time around. Just an hour ago, I received an email from Apple saying that my order has in fact been shipped - so the Apple Store Support employee which I talked to yesterday was actually right about that I should get such an email within 24hours.
I guess that you're European too, and, since we have the same estimated day of delivery, yours has probably been shipped too or is on its way to be shipped today. I would hang on a bit more - if you were one of us who followed the "Waiting for Arrandale"-threads to the bitter end, you have been through a far worse bit of waiting than what is coming now.
Anyhow, my estimated day of delivery has now changed to "On or before May 10th". I think it should be before, since it actually has been shipped now, but one can never know. Either way I'm happy that something is finally happening, and if it really is after the 28th/29th, then so be it - as long as I see some progress and can track my order on its way to Copenhagen via Rotterdam.
And now for some guidance from some of you guys who have become masters of tracking your orders through several websites: How do I do it? Is it through UPS, and if so, which number do I plug in? I've tried, but I got nothing, so, please, somebody guide me as to how you guys actually got all of that info on your orders exact location on its way to your homes.

Mine FINALLY shipped an hour ago! 15" Core i5 2,4 GHz with High-Res Screen ordered on the 15th of April. However, I don't seem to be able to track it. I did get a 81xxxx-number, but it's supposed to "Merge in NL Transit" because I ordered a sleeve with it. Does that mean I can't track it until it reaches the Netherlands?
PS: Estimated delivery: 10th of May Before it was 3rd of May at the latest. Oh well. I hope it reaches me sooner!

It looks like all of us in Europe ordering on the 14th/15th will be getting ours at nearly the same time.In other news: A partial answer for my question on how to track it is probably to wait for "Carrier Tracking Number" and "Assigned Carrier" to appear on the "Shipment status"-page. Right now, both are saying "In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly", so I guess that might be update later today (hopefully).

I ordered the exact same machine as you did, and ordered a Knomo bag beside it, so I don't think (or hope) that the order of extra stuff alters the tracking info
I too have nothing on the carrier nor the tracker number right now.But yesterday, the Apple Store Support employee told me that the machine would be shipped from Shang Hai, and then paired with the bag at Rotterdam, before it is sent to Copenhagen. As far as I can see, the machine itself has been shipped from Shang Hai, but it still says that the bag hasn't been shipped, so I think that employee hit it spot on. We'll just have to wait for the carrier info before we can truly track our orders
But it's nice to see so many of us finally getting somewhere!
I didn't even see you were from Denmark aswell! Awesome! Looks like we're in the exact same situation. My sleeve isn't listed as shipped either. Seems like our MBPs are in for a long ride together

So, right now, they are about to be put on a plane to Rotterdam, before they are paired with their respective bags, then shipped to Denmark. Ordered on the 20th, shipped on the 23rd, but expected delivery is the 29th. Seems long, but it is the weekend. Though the good news is it shipped just Three Days (best song ever) after the order was placed. Mine was an i7 17", but the bad news for some is that there is a shortage of i5 processors right now.

Mine has still not shipped. I ordered 2 MacBook Pro 17" i7 7200 rpm 500gb drive with Antiglare through the online Business Store, on the 13th at 12:30pm. I still have "not yet shipped" on the order. I have called Apple several times, but nobody can tell me exactly why they have not shipped (even though other exact configs ordered after mine have). All they have done is refunded the overnight shipping charge. This is so frustrating.
thats not very promising. I ordered on the 20th as well. I should just abandon all hope of having the machine in my hands next week. Its looking like its going to be the week of the 3rd. What sucks is that i have a major project going on at work that week will have barely any time to play with my new toy

Same here. Ordered the entry level i5 15" with glossy high-res on the same day like you. I hope it will get shipped on Monday to get it by the end of the week.
Ordered my 15" i7 7200 rpm drive with hires antiglare on 16 April. Today (24 April) I got the shipping mail. Ups tracking shows it to be delivered on monday 26 April, which seems fast! I live in the Netherlands.

Of course, but it will take a considerable time...because upon my inquiry with UPS, I am given to understand "that one should not rely too much upon their tracking system" - a tracking system, which, in my opinion, is made explicitly available for the CUSTOMERS, who wish to track their shipments....however, according to the same UPS-office in Copenhagen the fact is that my MBP is - most likely together with other orders placed with Apple on, or around the 13.4. - STILL in China (Shanghai?) or...?
I am fully respectful with regard to the trouble caused by the Icelandic Vulcan, with inevitably impact on the deliveries, BUT, what is the truth...where ARE the MBP's ordered as early as April 13th sitting??
