Actually a merge is less likely to show on Apecode as a merge goes via Walsh Western and is distributed by UPS. Apecode specifically deals with the European Distribution Centre (TNT) and TNT themselves.

Not quite, Apecode tracks Kuehne & Nagel and delivery to the distribution centre. If your package is with K&N it vanishes off Apecode's radar when it arrives at the EDC or Walsh Western.

Apecode will not track a package to your door, but it does provide links to the TNT tracker which might (if your final leg is with TNT). It seems that if TNT are handling the package from factory to door it never shows up on Apecode, and this seems to be happening where there is no merge-in-transit.

Delivered!!!!

I ordered last Tuesday night (technically Wednesday 2 AM EST or so)-- 15" 2.4 Ghz CTO 160 GB5400 rpm. I was told to expect shipping Jun 8 to 11 and expect delivery June 12-15. It left Shanghai on the 11th and is at home (per email) in NYC now. Can't wait to get home!

well mine was handed to a courier 48hrs ago yet none of the couriers recognise it. Walsh Western doesn't recognise either.

do you think they are being genuinely slow or just that their online tracking blows so exceptionally hard its only one level up from useless?

apecode links me to TNT, but i am now under the impression that UPS will be the couriers i think. TNT still shows "not found"

- Apple 'Track this shipment' ==> 21st June
- Apple sales lady ==========> 15th June (possibly)/18th June
- apecode.com/appletrack ====> 12th June (although this is for carrier to receive I guess)

Even clearer! However I shall be intrigued as to the results of your phone call, as it does look like our computers are partnered (and possibly getting to know each other at this rate )

EDIT: Maybe indeed! Save UPS an extra job... (they will hate me when they see I live in a curled up cul-de-sac...and at a dead end where 3-point turning is a nightmare!)

heh they will hate me when they have to call me and wait for me to get to reception since they are so anal about only the actual person signing for it!

We will have to meet up on our MBP first birthday for beers! Seems the amount of time they are spending on a pallet together they are best mates!

My macbook was supposed to be delivered today, according to Apple. Fedex says tomorrow. I was hoping it would get here a day early like the few accesories I bought which also shipped through Fedex, but no, it was stuck in Memphis for two days for some reason.

It wants to get here tomorrow though.

The widgets are useless....our shipments only go with a courier literally 24-72hrs before delivery and the apple site is currently not displaying the correct data as usual

It seems as though from all of the above quotes that they go to Anchorage first, at least for US/Canada orders, but I could be wrong. My MBP has been 'in transit' for over 18 hours now. So hard to wait

yes this is right they go to alaska first. remember the time difference, in calculating times.
