Phoned TNT yesterday, told delivery today. Spoke to TNT this morning, told not due to be delivered today now and they will investigate.

This now shows up on my TNT tracking!

Ok, I was on the phone with TNT this morning and they insisted again that, although no info is given, my MBP is in Arnhem and it will be delivered to me today. The employee was just waiting for 'an update', but everything is ok and it will come today.

Well, guess not. What a ridiculous company. In an effort to finally get this 'Out for Delivery' message, I did get an update, though one which I didn't like so much: Potential Connection Delay, still at Pudong (June 11 and June 12). I guess that means no MBP today and maybe not tomorrow even.

And it also means: one MBP which is shipped later from the same factory to the same country, will be received earlier.

Oh my gosh, what a sad, sad company TNT is.

Edit: Just got off the phone with Apple. They called with TNT and they said it is indeed not gonna be delivered today. 60% chance this week, 40% next week. I have told Apple that I am really frustrated by TNT messing up everything everytime, and asked a question why they are still doing business which such a company, but the only thing he could do is ask TNT to do the utmost to deliver it asap.

Well, what shall I say, I certainly hope it doesn't have any dead pixels, noise hard drives or other nasty things.

i have a merge in transit, so who should i ring to find out more info? UPS or TNT?

Just spoke to TNT, the flight from Shanghai experienced technical problems so couldn't take off. Still stuck in Shanghai.

Confirmed that it will go Pudong > Arnhem > UK, so probably take a least two - three days, however TNT is ringing me back to tell me when it's in the UK.

Did you find out when the next flight will be leaving?

They didn't know. It's spend two days sat on the tarmac at Shanghai Intl, so I would think it's in TNT's best interests to get it fixed and get all of those shipments out.

I do blame TNT for this, because it's always the same thing. It's not the first time I've seen these problems, hey are all over the place. If their planes are crappy, buy a new plane.

Also, the fact which is the worst is that TNT this morning clearly stated that it was in Arnhem and it surely would be here today, while at that moment, it has been standing in Pudong for at least 2 days without anyone knowing or caring about it.

I guess if your package is lost within TNT, you are really unlucky.

It's a bit pathetic really surely they can find another plane/fix the broken one?

If I were paying for Shipping (as opposed to "Free Shipping") I'd be looking for the shipping charge to be waived.

You beat me to it... looks like we're sitting on the same pallet in some airport!

I simply can't believe what an absolute ***** mess TNT is. In this day how can something sit for over 2 days because the plane has broken down. Is there no other plan in Pudong onto which something can be placed. If you miss your flight for a holiday do you sit and wait 2 days while they fix it!?!?

I'd suggest anyone else in the same position let Apple know you're dissatisfied. They seriously need to rethink their carriers. They're also not blameless as they've told me no less than 4 times in the last 3 days that 'it's in the UK' and 'it'll be with you be Wednesday', 'there are no delays'.

Apple store - never again!

It would be great but I'll lay shorts odds on Monday or more likely Tuesday.

I wonder if it's TNT who are delivering locally as I'll have to take a day off/arrange with boss to work from Home on the day of delivery.

Either that or pick up from the depot, which I thought I'd do the last time I bought from the store only to find out the depot was in Larkhall - 40 miles away!
