Has your SR MBP shipped yet?

I believe those times are local to the 'event' so your assumption makes sense to me. I just had an email from the Apple rep I spoke to this morning confirming it's still in Pudong and they're trying to get it shipped 'as soon as possible'.

In response I sent quite a long email expressing my dissatisfaction with their choice of carrier (as well as cheap shipping for a premium product), and the repeated misinformation.

The more people that complain to them the more likely they are to do something about it. UK customers should at least be offered an option to upgrade their shipping when paying for one of the more expensive products on the market. We need to let them know this is NOT acceptable.

Hopefully will get delivered today, but not placing any bets. Weird how it didnt go through alaska this time.

I don't believe anything TNT claims apart from what's in the tracker on the website. The peoples at customer service just told us bla bla bla, so why it's not bla bla they are talking right now?

This apart from the fact that the tracker is indeed the crappiest ever seen.

Mmm I get mailing this evening.

So they're still in Pudong?

That's three days and I'd love to know how they're being stored if it the case that they are low priority...

What's the chance of some going walkies if they're not being held in secure storage?

I know they are on cheap shipping but they still take the same route as the priority stuff. They are safe and secure!

i think mines pretty much in the same batch as yours isnt it? hopefully 2moro or friday, that will be good.

If yours got the 'truck reached final destination' today on Apecode then yup they are together.

I have a courier number now so have all widgets open - none showing up so far though....

EDIT: I am really hoping UPS/TNT get it by the close of business today so it makes it to the Manchester depot over night and then out on a van for me tomorrow!

Our 17" Hi-Res MBP's are keeping each other company on the long commute!

maybes not then, mine was still at departed and booking slot obtained last i checked, though that was a while ago. ill check back soon to see whats what.

wonder how long it'll take to get to middlesbrough. i dont even know if there is a TNT depot here, though i have seen TNT vans around sporadically. amtrak, ups, royal mail, bussiness post, city link all must have depots near me and that lot are usually prompt with deliveries. though the amtrak guys always look shady because they kept turning up in unmarked mercedes sprinter vans.:D

infact the royal mail would be super early with my deliveries when i was in loughborough last year. heh just when you think the good ol royal mail are bad.... TNT show up:D

Mine just got shipped from China. At least that was what the nice lady at TNT Denmark told me :eek:

Mine skipped Alaska too and went to Indianapolis. Strange that they didn't go to Memphis instead. :rolleyes: It still has to go there because our local distribution center only has flights from Memphis. So much for two-day shipping. :rolleyes:
 
As my new MBP is scheduled to be delivered this morning, I've been refreshing the FedEx tracking page all morning. Finally it says Delivered! I can hardly wait for our agency's mail room to call and say I can pick it up!

Yay! :D
