Has your SR MBP shipped yet?

Hmm, it wouldn't be impossible, but I'd say it's not very likely. I think the next update on your tracking will be something like 'accept scanned at EDC' which seems to be happening 2 days after the 'flight departed' line for most people. That would mean that your delivery will only be arriving in Europe on Friday.

Of course it helps that you're in the Netherlands, so it should get to you fairly quickly after it lands, but it still has to merge with the other items you ordered.
 
I ordered the MBP 15.4" with the 2.2GHz processor... everything stock except for the glossy screen, which causes it to be a CTO order. I put the order in early on June 6th and it is supposed to ship between June 11 and June 13 (today), but it still shows up as not being shipped yet.

I am in Ontario, Canada and am getting very impatient.

SHIP my computer PLEASE!
 
Fedex just changed my status to Estimated Delivery on June 15. I ordered on Saturday morning. So, if a CTO built MBP can get made, shipped and delivered from China in 6 days, I am impressed.
 
It's here! My first :apple: is here finally! =) Looks flawless so far. I'll keep you updated.
 
How long does it take to ship the MBPs?

How long did it it take for your MBP to ship from the time you ordered it? Did it match the estimates that Apple provided?

ordered 2.4 stock on the 5th
started at delivery on the 11th then within a day switched to the 13th
was that until this morning, then all the delays started.
Never buy at the Apple store again, rather give the profit margin to a reseller than Apple.:mad:

I realise the question wasn't directed at us poor souls whos Macs are sat in China, but any excuse to whinge!:D
 
Still Waiting

I ordered my 17" MBP back on May 25th and it was delayed for the update, but it isn't going to ship until June 18!! What a pain.

Or you could just be an adult about it and realise that **** happens and this is a freak one off and its not normally as bad.

Anyone spoken to TNT lately? I phoned at lunchtime and the lady said it should be on a plane tonight but who knows if that'll actually happen - it must be tonight in Shanghai by now.
 
Our 17" Hi Res MBP's are on the same flight :)

I actually had a call FROM TNT this afternoon :)eek:) ... sadly only to inform me that there are 'problems' in Pudong and they'll phone to let me know if it's not going to be here by Friday.

I give up! :mad:
 
I called FedEx this morning as I see that their status page hasn't updated to reflect that my stock 15.4" matte screen is stuck in Mississauga.

So I called Apple and said, "I paid for 2 day shipping and I was wondering what exactly 2 day shipping meant?"

The lady on the phone explained, "it means 2 days after touching down on US soil."

"Interesting," said I, "considering that it touched down in Anchorage last Saturday, was scheduled to be delivered today by noon (June 13th) and is actually sitting in Mississauga as we speak and won't be delivered until god knows when. Please remind me what I paid for when I selected 'Express' shipping?"

So she went off to verify and came back with a $50 credit to my Mastercard.

I say, "Wunderbar!" and she says, "Thank you. Come again."

And that's my story.

I still don't know when I'm getting my MBP, but at least I got to blow off a bit of steam (politely, of course).
 
Arg! I ordered on Thursday (the 7th) a MBP 2.4 Ghz, and only upgraded the HD to the 200Gb. It still says "Ships by June 21st". Is everyone seeing this delay with the larger HD, or am I getting screwed? If I log in to the normal apple site (not the edu one) it says it'll ship in 3-5 days with that config...
 
w00t! My MBP is already in Memphis. If it gets to my city tonight, I'm going to call about picking it up straight from the distribution center. Fedex let me before. :D
 
Just got the following in my e-mail from the Apple Store:

We are happy to advise you that your order is now in transit, however, we are experiencing a short delay. We now expect to deliver your order by 18/06/2007.

That's if the bleeping plane has taken off!

I just realised it's a bit like my first mac buying experience in 1995 when the local reseller in Dundee constantly said my Peforma 630 would arrive tomorrow. Right up to the point I cancelled the order and bought one off the shelves of John Lewis Edinburgh.

They mean Friday in the UK or Friday delivery?

Well, I'm going to be in the same boat as you if my MBP isn't delivered this afternoon. It's already a day late.

Well i the only person i'm aware of getting theirs was Mustard Chops, not sure about eenu.

I've waited almost 6 months for the new SR MPB, just that little final bit to go now ;)
 
GOT MY SR MBP 2.2 with nodead/stuck pixel, keyboard is perfect and no problem so far. cant be happier than now!!!
