Has your SR MBP shipped yet?

I called FedEx today to ask them for some more detail about the shipment (as I was told on the 11th that it would be here today-sadly it wasn't :( ) to make sure it is still on time, and they said it's taking a flight tonight from Memphis to Calgary and will be delivered tomorrow (of course depending on customs)
As far as I've been able to track, there is only 1 FedEx flight each day to Calgary at around 6:30am, and it comes from Memphis (UPS arrives usually 1/2 hour later. So my MBP got to spend the day in Memphis, and will most likely leave around 3am tomorrow to come here. I sure hope it is, the morning is wide open to be able to play around (and then get back to work;) )

Mine is coming to Canada too, specifically the southern Ontario area.
 
I really can't call to ask for expedited shipping charges as this is a replacement due to apple messing up the past few months, and they are the ones that chose to give me 'priority overnight shipping' which I am finding out, doesn't really exist. I feel really lucky because the timing couldn't have been more perfect. This is replacing a 17" core duo 2.16 (rev A - one of the first ones out) which I have absolutely loved. This was my first mac ever, and it won't be my last! My wife tells me everyday how she can't believe the timing. As soon as I got approval for the exchange to happen, they gave me the specs on the 2.33 of which I was happy about (a little jealous my kid brother had just got that one and I like the 801.11n etc.), but then they let me know the next morning that I would have the brand new ones, and asked if I wanted to upgrade anything. Apple has been very kind indeed, I'm just looking forward to using it. I use 2 screens as is for my podcasts and webpage stuff for the business, so the extra real-estate will be welcomed!
 
looks like my wireless mighty mouse is going to get delivered tomorrow with no MBP to use it with.. well at least it will (hopefully) get shipped out tomorrow and not push back all the dates of shipment..
 
So it turns out the tracking for min MBP order will not work! I have to call apple to get the info, and that doesn't seem to be a huge wait on the phone but definantly not as easy as tracking online.
still not shipped yet ordered on the 5th!

My card has been charged, but its authorized temporarily.... hopefully it will get shipped by tomorrow, or else I might go on a rampage.
 
mine should be coming at 10:40am tomorrow according to FedEx. Ordered on friday so the 8th.
 
mine was scheduled to ship June 11-13th and not a damn thing has happened! All I see is "not yet shipped" this is really getting old. All I did was get an upgrade to 160GB@5400.

I ordered mine on May 25 and they held it for me for the updates.

June 18th... geez why the long delay for me? What a pain, but at least they held my order for the updates to begin with.
 
After exhausing the reload button, my stock high end 15" MBP finally shipped today, having ordered it shortly after WWDC. I would have opted to waltz into the Apple Store at Ala Moana in Hawaii but the ADC hardware discount was too good to pass up. Ordered the 4GB kit from OWC and should make for a decent machine to last me the four years while attending the Academy of Art University of San Francisco.
 
Just Shipped!!

So I am sitting here (1.20am), constantly refreshing the Apple store page to see if my MBP will be shipped... and suddenly, I see that it was shipped, and almost instantly, I received an email. It made the my waste of sleep-time worthwhile!

Wow and apple has teamed up with fedex to uncover the mystery of time travel! amazing ability to warp ahead 7 hours. haha
 
oh what a great treat I just received from apple. you nuts all hit refresh so many times they had to shut the site down haha just kidding.

Haha, thats funny- and I do share the blame! My IE just couldnt take the refresh button hits anymore, and died... but I restarted it, and tortured it even more!

Now just dont be surprised if the FedEx page goes offline :D
 
Nearly a week later, I have finally received mine.

FedEX dropped off the printer but left a note on the door for the computer. So I marched myself down to the nearest FedEX distro and picked it up myself.
 
So disappointed...

I'm so disappointed with Apple. If I purchase on apple.ca and I pay in Canadian dollars, with a Canadian credit card, I expect them to ship from Canada not from motherf***ing China. Damn it! :mad:

I indebted myself for $3000, my ipod shipped from China and my MacBook Pro hasn't shipped yet. I ordered it on the 11th and spent the last few days hitting the refresh button. Last time I checked my laptop is not shipped yet. Now the Order Status page is not working. What's wrong with Apple?

I know I'm being impatient, but I'm very disappointed by their way of dealing with new customers. :( :( Now, who knows when my laptop will finally arrive... If I just went to the retail store I could have obtained a laptop on the spot. Live and learn I guess. Damn it! :(

Everyone's ships from China...I don't see what you are complaining about. You should have known this. How would they seperate new customers from old? With these new MBP's and WWDC, I bet the store is getting pretty busy. Calm down. At least you're not left in the dark waiting 4-6 weeks like me.
 
My Fedex tracking just got updated!!! It arrived from Shanghai to Alaska earlier this afternoon.

Aaron, if I purchase an item from the US or from Canada I expect them to ship from North America. If this is not the case, they should clearly state so on the checkout page. I've spent extra money for the 2 days delivery, what for if I have to wait at least a week to even get it shipped? But yeah, I'll try to relax. :)
 
yeah the store is still down and I ordered mine on June 10th and no updates at all so far. It's still supposed to be shipped by today at the latest and I'll be really pissed if nothing happens today. I might have to talk to the manager's supervisor's manager and threaten to recommend that we do not renew out developer memberships for NYU's ITS people, see if that can get me some more answers. I really can't believe there is no warehouse in the US that has at least the base models on stock. C'mon, they stocked all the stored with computers that had to be sorted and organized to be sent to all the stores before revamped MBPs were sent to all the stored before the announcement, so this is bs.
