Just Im'd them they told me they would try and push my ship date to Nov.3rd and if I haven't heard from them by wed. to call them back and reference the notes that have been placed on the system also have the chat saved to my email!! There is hope!!!! :)

Are they blowing air when they say try to get you move to 11/3? My concern is the 11/3 should’ve been shipped by now right? Is there a way for you to get the 11/3 if it wasn’t shipped? There’s gotta be a cut off ship day in order to even receive the phone on 11/3.

Ya call Apple and Att. Apple gave me a free case, and updated “2 day” faster delivery. 11/17-24 standard shipping to 11/15-22 2-3 day shipping. Att gave me $25 credit.

I figured they gave you a free case. Did they let you choose between silicone, leather, or those folio cases or make you pick say just a leather case? I doubt they would give you the folio case since it is $100.00.


Well, I had an Apple Senior Advisor that I worked with for two weeks literally everyday to see if the closest Apple Store (1 hour 20 minutes away) had a new phone in stock for me to get. One day she called me and said they had one, I drove all the way out there and they did not have one to begin with, so waste of time and gas. The Senior Advisor I had was really great though, gave me the free leather case. She checked stock EVERYDAY, so at the end I talked to her boss and told her what a great job she did and her boss said, well for all the trouble you have gone through we would like to give you a $150.00 credit to the Apple Store that can be used on anything. I used it to buy another case - Apple Silicone case, another Philips Hue light (I needed one more color Hue light to make my house have all color Hue lights,) and an Apple silicone back case for my iPad Pro 9.7". They even let me go over a little bit because when you add all that stuff together, plus tax it was closer to $200.00, but damn for everything I had to go through I think that was the least they could do.

I doubt you will get $150.00 for a bad preorder, but I want that faster 2 day delivery. That would truly help me with my travel for Thanksgiving issue. I really do not want to miss Thanksgiving and see my whole family to stay home to get my iPhone X, but I guess I would no choice if the delivery date was for the 23rd...but does UPS deliver on Thanksgiving?

They have phones already in the US... people that are getting 11/3 some of them are already seeing Iphones at HUBS.. also I ordered my 6+ when they first came out and it came from China in 2 days..

No, because they can upgrade you to overnight delivery or weekend delivery so you could get it Saturday the 4th, which I would sure as hell take if offered. Last year with my iPhone 7 Plus, the shipment group I was in got caught up in a Typhoon and could not leave Korea so they got delayed, but Apple upgraded that entire group of people and myself to overnight weekend delivery and we got an email saying it would be there on Saturday September 24, 2016, and we all thought that would not happen. Well it came, and it came early...about 8-8:30am. I was happy until I opened it and saw all the cosmetic damage and micro-crack in the screen! That started that whole other issue!

I thought you said you got a case from Apple? If not, just tell them how furious you are with them and say is there anything you can possibly do to fix this mess or make it even just a bit better. Then they will usually offer the free case, or if you wanted, one of those charging stands, or I bet this year one of the wireless charging pods. Just be firm and keep bitching until you get what you want.

How did you make that happen? What method did you use to upgrade? IUP, buy full price, carrier financing? I mean what the hell! You will not get it on the 1st though, does not matter what FedEx says, Apple will not let them deliver before the 3rd. Also, be careful of FedEx...they have been known to leave what they clearly know are iPhones that are required to get signatures at your door without getting a signature. Read about that when the iPhone 8's shipped. Plus, they do it to me with things like Apple cases all the time...the guy does not even knock...just leaves it in front of my door, it's like what the hell dude! My neighbors and myself have all called and complained about this guy and it seems they fired him or gave him a different route because we have a new guy.

I im'ed Apple chat and complained about the Nov 17th date. The rep said that he could not personally push my date up to Nov 3, but that I could speak to a manager within 24 hours... wish me luck in convincing the manager!
