So did yours track from Icheon, Anchorage and to Ontario? Or did it just "show up" at Ontario. Most of us have seen nothing so only hoping mine is on USP99. Given the flights today from Ontario to Louisville they won't start until tomorrow AM around 4-8 PDT. Meaning not til 6-10 my time so maybe they will be in Louisville late morning-midday or so... which still works as I have had them come in early in AM and then ship the next day to near me to wait until the next day when delivery is scheduled.

Make sure you are logged in to UPS, mine times out after being on for hour or something and then the time of delivery is often not there again just day?

This looks very similar to mine. Still in Korea and due Monday by end of day. Not sure I believe that. Will see. Money has already come out of my account. So I’m hoping. I’m on the IUP program and ordered a few minutes after 2 and this is what I get. No launch day, hubby cancelled his Verizon on and just went to the store to get his. He’s messing with it now. Daughter cancelled her Apple one as she also got a later ship date. She then ordered from AT&T that morning and got a 11/3 arrival. She too is playing with her phone. Me not so much. Still waiting.
 
Yes that is the UPS99 plane been following hoping mine is on there. the time of arrival in Incheon is 24 hour clock it was 7:26 PM local time it seemed all the people in Korea tour even if the phones made to Anchorage were from that time but yours was different?

I don't think the plane goes to Louisville the numbers of flights from Ontario are different, so packages, pallets may be split at that point if they are all there which has not been confirmed yet. I am starting to think with nothing showing yet mine is not on UPS99 but will leave Incheon later, sometimes UPS logistics just is nuts and not seemingly efficient to me. Hopefully some things were not lost ...
I think yours is just a little delayed or has lag. Mine is updated already and is in California rn, I'm sure yours will update soon, check back in a few hours or in the morning.

Also mine says "Clearance completed" at the top, but it doesn't in the shipment progress section, so confused.

Yeah definitely delayed and lag on the updates. You guys should be fine.
 
I caved and went to stand in line at the Apple Store before it opened this AM, with success.

My shipping status hadn't changed from 11/17-11/24 and Apple never called me back yesterday. So, I went to bed last night at 11:30PM even though I'm usually awake till 2-3AM and I usually then sleep till 10-11AM in return.

I woke up at 5:20AM about 30 minutes before my alarm, got dressed, and headed to the local Apple store after I saw that my shipping still hadn't changed this AM and remained at "Order In Progress". When I arrived there were about 60 people in line ahead of me, with the first ones in line since 8PM yesterday.

It was 34 degrees for most of last night and the five peeps in the very front were there all night, and it was 38 degrees when i got there at 6:00AM. Most other people had chairs and blankets, and few brought scraps of carpet or carpet pad to sit on or lay on. There was only one tent. By 8AM when the line started to move there were another 60 people behind me.

Despite the cold weather, I was pretty warm the first two hours, with a heavy coat and warm shoes and a thermos of hot coffee, sitting in my portable chair and blasting Kygo out of my V-MODA Remix bluetooth speaker which everyone seemed to enjoy.

The store manager came by right before the doors opened, with coffee and fruit cereal bars, and then it only took about an hour for me to make it to the doors. While the line was moving they had staff checking what models we wanted, confirmed stock, and made a reservation with our name and phone number for us.

I wanted the unlocked Verizon 256GB in Space Grey, that's compatible with all networks but to use with my ATT account. But they only had ONE 256GB Verizon phone left by the time they got to me, and it was Silver. But they were letting us get 2 phones (and I had two active phones with me anyway), so I got the Silver Verizon plus a 256GB Space Grey for ATT so I could decide later which version I wanted, and give the other to my wife.

The Apple Store has a nice alignment rig for the Belkin glass screen protectors, which they said have a 1 year replacement warranty if you contact Belkin when you break it, so I had them install one on each phone while I was there. But I tested only the Verizon phone with my ATT SIM and it worked fine and I left with both phones.

I did the screen protectors on both since I figured my wife or daughter would want one, but I was wrong. She wants a vacation for Xmas, and my daughter with the slower iPhone 6 (who would have received my wife's old 7 as a hand-me-down) already has enough Xmas gifts and she wont get the spare. My other daughter and son are happy with her 5SE and his 7+.

While I dislike the shiny bezel/frame I really like the silver/white glass back, much more than the black glass back. And I want to keep the unlocked 4-carrier version. I might electroplate the silver bezel to a darker grey color, or have my watchmaker give it a brushed finish to make it more light grey than shiny. But I'll try it as is with a nice case to cover the silver first.

So I have to decide if I'll sell the other one locally, or return it for a refund. I really don't want to sell to a stranger online and be subject to scammers, who are always one step ahead. The guy that was behind me in line got two ATT 256GB and walked next door to an ATT store and sold one for cash and a $250 profit, after posting it on CraigsList while in line and getting 3 scammers to call him within 20 minutes.

I'm just not that kinda guy. I offered to sell mine to a few people who were left in line an hour later, but none of them wanted a 256GB or didn't want to pay cash - they wanted to pay Apple with credit card and couldn't buy it if I returned it because it had been opened to install the protecter and Apple would have sent it back to refurbish. Kinda silly to do that with an unactivated new phone, so I figured I check with family and friends before I return it.

I've been burned by paypaler's before, even when I have the UPS Store double box things up with me videotaping the process and proving the chain of custody with UPS. Eventually coming-out ahead, but only after the stress of PP initially siding with buyer and making me fight to get the held funds back.

However, if anyone here live's along the front range in Colorado and wants to meet up with me for a cash transaction on the grey 256GB ATT I'd consider doing that if I'm comfortable with it. And give you a fair price with a small markup for my trouble and waiting in line - either with the AppleCare+ that I bought with it, or after getting a refund for the AC+ policy.

I caved and braved the 45 degree weather for 10 minutes before I got into the Michigan Ave store this afternoon at 2:30. 20 minutes later I was back at my office with my iPhone X canceling my pre-order.

The clearance on yours is the customs release, always one on this end where the phone is going to leave the airport and ship elsewhere. Are you on west coast?

I notice your arrival in Incheon was same as mine. Interesting two departure times on the flight to Anchorage but that definitely was UPS99.

Usually the lags/updates more in china but by time out of china I see where mine is going. Hopefully just lag in scanning. If my phone is in Ontario it will likely leave there for Louisville and then or after it shows there I will see. It seems most of my tracking updates are happening in the am for me, then it goes dead rest of day the way this has gone. Not sure why

I have been hoping we were fine but now that it clearly is in US I am concerned it still has not shown would have thought it would by now. Why I am wondering if mine is on that flight in 10 hours from Incheon Intl if they did split up pallet loads? time will tell time for bed and see what transpires. Heck I was on the 17-24th delivery so this is not bad just that Monday would have been perfect day to stay home and wait and play ;-)

I went to the Apple store today and realized there were a lot of inventory for pickups. There were literally a line of people for pickup.
That was confusing to me- since none of my local stores had “in store pickup” option yet hundreds seemed to do it. (And plenty for walk ins too!)

Yeah I am still hoping for stuck tracking data not phones in Korea otherwise the 6th may slip a day or so. Still not bad considering until Thursday I was stuck in the 16-24th delivery ;-)

Yes I have been charged also, there is a phone I even used serial number on my apple invoice and that tracking link that shows week it was made to check it out (week before it was shipped actually).

I also am in the IUP program it took me til 12 minutes past to get in and I was already at 17--24th by that time even though the preaproval made it go fast once I got in so I did not have to deal with credit checks and crashed AT&T servers eat ;-)

I will wait til morning seems that is when we get our data and hopefully then we will see if we were in this batch or in a batch truly stuck in Seoul at Incheon Int.

Okay that makes more sense, thanks. But it still hasn't updated to Ontario, so there is definitely lag.

And, does it have to go to Louisville? :(

No it does not have to go to Louisville if you are near that center they will ship by truck to you. Louisville is the hub for UPS for country and sometimes though stuff for west coast goes there first but usually when it does it is a direct flight from Anchorage to Louisville then shipments out across the country which mostly make it in scheduled time.

Just an FYI, when I was in line earlier and the Apple rep was reserving my phone. He told me to go ahead and cancel my order because sometimes it takes an hour for it to propagate through the systems and to release my upgrade eligibility with ATT. By the time, I was in the store the system had updated and my phone sale didn’t get stopped because ATT’s system thought I had used my eligibility.

Well then it might be going to Louisville next, however given you had customs release already, and mine usually happens at Louisville I am not sure what is going on -- some weird confusing logistics along with lags in data. Maybe once the launch day rush is over UPS servers will have better data. I hope to see a change tomorrow
 
No updates for me. Estimated date still reads 17th-24th. I was notified on apple's site at 315AM that I would get a reservation email. I got the email around 430AM. I was able to get my order in but no updates yet.
 
Yes they did, however, you can go on Apple.com and order one and pick it up there and all seems good. I am to going take any chances and just patiently wait for my iPhone X, which I think will be bumped up as soon as tomorrow maybe? Saturday's for me are all about Ohio State Football! So up until 3:30pm EST, I might call the store and ask if it is true, but at 3:30 it is Buckeyes time!!! Lets go Buckeyes!!!!!!

all of you that are cancelling orders and picking up in store, did you all do full price orders, or did you do ATT NEXT or anything like that. Or do you just call and cancel while in the store physically holding the new one.

I did Iphone upgrade for the 6s+ and 7+ and always got it on the first day for local pickup. but this time when it finally let me in the apple store to order, @ like 0315am EST, ship dates were already 17-24. but at the same time ATT still had the 3rd. Im still really shocked that ATT could deliver on time shipments vs APPLE this time around.
 
I’ve gotten a new phone since the 4s. My history:
4s: First version not locked to AT&T. Got it in-store in mid-November.
5: Got lucky and showed up at an Apple Store on Launch Saturday just as a shipment arrived.
5s. Pre-ordered. Got a late delivery. Got lucky at a store on Launch Saturday.
6. Got lucky at a store launch weekend.
6s. Pre-ordered through IUP. Got my phone delivered on Launch Friday.
7. Got an 8:30am launch day in-store reservation for an IUP upgrade.
X - Pre-ordered. Got 11/17-11/24 window. Showed up at Apple Store at 2:30pm launch day. Got my phone of choice 15 minutes later. Loving the X.

I had a full price order with an 11/17 shipment date. Panicked and reserved a phone at a Target in Indiana today. Found out Michigan Ave had tons of phones at 2:15 and then went there. Was back at my office by 2:45 with my iPhone X. :)
