Good to hear about your injury. Speaking of trail running, I have not done so in quite some time, but that is a challenge on its own. There are a lot of great trails in my state in heavily wooded areas. I personally enjoy the scenery and I try to focus on my environment around me when I’m running. (I don’t listen to music of any sort), but having been in Fort Myers as of recent, I absolutely enjoy the different vegetation, plant life and scenery when running (As strange as that may be to some). I found myself actually running farther over my normal distances just from sightseeing during runs.

Beach Sunset Run. It’s fairly difficult to run in sand, because you can never gain complete traction, but much cooler at this time of Evening.

Long...Run on Estero Boulevard, this is facing Time square, there is a fishing pier directly behind me. Humidity down here is on another level, but I did fairly well. Lots of traffic to be aware of when running.
