Here's What the iPhone 13 Lineup Will Look Like

The camera bump really looks ridiculous on the white (I refuse to call it silver) iPhone.
I just recently got a Samsung Galaxy A52 from work and the finger print sensor under the display works incredible well and the little hole is so much more subtle. This 300 euro phone actually appears much more advanced than my 12 Pro Max from the front. Of course you can’t compare the cameras but amazing what Samsung manages to put into a cheap phone compared to the iPhone

I miss the old times when there was only one iPhone for everyone.
The only weakness is the video quality, stills are fine. So if you don't need video the A52 it's a great phone with excellent screen.
It’s possible that there just isn’t much new stuff these phones can do. Either way, my point is that even if they could make some monumental leap it would make better business sense for them to drag it out over a few iterations.
There are many(some that is) here who only know it's Apple -- they hate it!
That's rather a transparent(easily verified) reality.
What that supposed 13 design is is --- drumroll please -- an iPhone. Apple has the intended design direction of rarely introducing radical design change. Like it or not they view it as an easier transition from old product A to new product B (see how that works?). Other companies go for the radical physical change model to model (sometimes) and are ok with having notably different designs within their user base. Differing approaches that serve the market And For those looking for 'something that must look totally different!' then their options are over ------>
No notch, or the punch hole would be much nicer. Don't care about FaceID, don't need it, put the thumbprint scanner in the power button on the side, like the iPad Pro. The notch is ridiculously outdated looking. Extremely ugly.
AoD ( Always on Display ) better be on this iPhone 13 line, it's a must have feature, not a gimmick.

A smaller notch is still a notch. What is Apple gonna say about the notch when they finally get rid of it? “Users we’re loving the reduced notch so much, we said ‘why not get rid of it?’
I’m not preordering this time but in the spring, after I make sure there’s no surprise mid year color release, I’m getting a 13 mini. (Trade in my green 12 mini). I can’t wait for the color rumors. I hope there’s more purple. Orange. Bright pink, bright blue. Another nice green.

Hopefully new bronze color excites you. I'm sure Apple will be offering pretty exciting colors.

Fyi, Apple's quarterly financial results will be announced in about 2 weeks. Probably better not listen to that announcement.
