eh i have notthing else to do and it's only 27 more mins. so i am the only crazy doing this?

id have to answer that question with a big yesss. If i would have missed it i would go to nbc.com to see it, but it only eneded 40 minutes ago, so i still remember it all. Its kinda nice too, because i usually only have to watch each episode once to understand and see everything.

my heroes club @ school reviews mondays episodes on thurs so i can download it and bring it, so i wont see it again till thursday.

one more thing to add: how much of a badass was peter in the future?!? And did yall see the fire and ice powers...damn.

And did yall see the fire and ice powers...damn.

I thought it was just Ted's electrical pulse thingy? Not to give spoilers, but I don't think that is. That's why I wait until after seeing it to read here though. Same with the Lost thread.

I just have one word though... Sylar!

I rather like the bad arse peter...showing his skills and not being a little punk. What is up with the scar..I guess you NEED to have a scar to be bad arse.

This show is so slow but i'm loving it.

I thought the ice was from the guy Sylar killed in the second episode, the one whose daughter is "Molly Walker" who was mentioned but never seen.

The fire could have come from Claire's bio-mom.

Or they could have been two cool effects that meant nothing, but since the show has gone to pains to show us other people's powers its kind of cool to speculate where each of them might have picked up those extra "skills".

Effects of the bomb? Who knows- I was confused as to how he got the scar as well. I gotta say- its an UGLY scar... I hope they don't keep that.

On a slightly different topic- someone ^^ there said best episode of any show ever- I agree. 100% no doubt in my mind, that was the greatest TV show I have ever seen. I sat there amazed the entire time before my (*#$%# cable DVR cut of the last two minutes.

have to agree with some people

that episode quite possibly was the greatest episode of anything i have seen ever!:D

Considering he can heal himself, there must be an interesting story behind that scar...

Great episode! Now Hiro has even more incentive to change the future.

Didn't he say he got it in the explosion on last night's show?

I could be wrong but I thought I heard that when he was talking to Nikki/Jessica.

i watched the end of last week's show again, and i think there could be another theory behind that final scene with hiro in the future (time paradoxes don't help either).

there's no set timeline to save the cheerleader in the timeline, it could be after new york blows up, so claire could still be in danger, and save the cheerleader, save the world could be something else for a later season, but don't bet on it.

and if you cannot change the timeline, was this just a message of encouragement for the heroes to go on the certain path they end up taking in this timeline, or a warning of what is to come to the world for the people in the past? perhaps whoever made the timeline figured out this already that you can't change time, and that you can at least tell the story of what happened in the past so that people won't forget what happened maybe?

this is all so confusing, and time travel always makes things twice as complicated. remember that.

well, it seems like the start of the show scratched that theory...or not. maybe sylar still gets the power...something else happens. and it looked like sylar lied. i still think new york blows up, and hiro did make the timeline.

now, on to this week's show.

loved the scene when peter had ando and future hiro escape, parkman's expression was priceless and i was laughing all over.

and it sounds like ando is a vital part of hiro's character now, he's the happy go lucky person that keeps hiro's spirits high, and without ando, he becomes wallowed in anger and guilt.

and how does jessica die? i don't get it. nikki is here forever, but jessica taught her some lessons.

and i like peter's scar. it's nice.

i think the whole progression of how the characters will turn out is nice. yes, the city will blow up, unless we start tinkering with alternate dimensions, and that will make things more complicated. and here's another thing, did nathan die and was sylar president? odd.

great show, best one all season. also some xmen parodies here too.

I would be willing to bet the Haitian had something to do with Peter's scar since he has the ability to cancel out their powers.

and here's another thing, did nathan die and was sylar president?

Sylar must have killed Nathan since he can fly so he therefore has Nathan's power.

I would be willing to bet the Haitian had something to do with Peter's scar since he has the ability to cancel out their powers.

Could Peter absorb the Haitian's power and cancel it out allowing him to do whatever the heck he wants? or is it like a blanket that kills everyones powers within range?

If the Haitian was using his power, Peter couldn't use his power, so he couldn't absorb it. Same with Sylar, unless he killed the Haitian without powers. That's even more confusing than the time line thingy.

Still waiting for the knock down, drag out fight between Peter and Sylar. They keep teasing us, but they didn't show much. Again! Looks like it may be Hiro against Sylar, which is cool too I guess, but for different reasons. It's still not the same. Am I the only one who wants to actually see Peter kick some butt, instead of it just being implied?

i think nathan was planning to put all of the mutants in holding so he can kill them, take their powers and then take over the world. now the question is, how did sylar survive the bomb?

how did sylar survive the bomb?

He wasn't the explosion, Peter was. We don't know where Sylar was. That's a good point about taking their powers, I'm sure he could have, eventually, if he needed or wanted them. Someone made a comment about the ones they had being harmless, so that's probably why he didn't bother with those that we're hidden or those they captured that couldn't do much. He probably already got the good ones after they captured him.

And he kinda already is taking over the world. He's Pres, planning on making a fake cure. He said something about the world mourning, then uniting. He didn't just get stronger, he got smarter, and apparently is pretty patient, unless threatened.

how did sylar survive the bomb?

That's easy... he wasn't there.

Peter admitted he was the bomb and that others lied pointing the blame at Sylar (who evidently gets to kill the shapeshifting chick soon). After that Sylar went into hiding and either killed Nathan and became the president or killed him after he was elected (not sure which).

Sylar also had Nikki's husbands powers (walk through walls) and I assume Mika's (did he do something with the phone he was carrying) since there both dead. I wonder if Linderman succumbed to the same fate, along with the shapeshifter since Sylar had her abilities (morph into Nathan).

Claires was the last power that he really needed to become invincible.

Although now we know Hiro is going back to kill Sylar, but he doesn't know that Peter was the bomb!

Was the comic book that Hiro left with the book that (??? Forget his name) gave the delivery guy right before he died?

So many things happed so fast that its hard to keep everything straight!

I think they said Micah died in the NY Peter/Sylar bomb. Presumably he was there fixing the election for Linderman.

Upon second viewing, I was especially skeeved and curious by Sylar's comment about Nathan already being on an evil path PRIOR to being killed...that Sylar just continued a genocide that had been put into motion. Cree-py. Also leads to a scary future for Nathan.

I thought Micah survived the bomb, didn't Peter say that Micah was one that lied and pointed at Sylar being the bomb?

Edit: Re-watched and had the wife help clarify. Nathan lied and said it was Sylar to protect Peter. Micah did die in the bomb, Peter admitted to killing Micah.

stupid question....how did claire get to new york from texas so fast? someone else with superpowers? sylar? nathan?

probably doesn't matter much.

and how does jessica go away? it sounds like nikki has no powers of her own, and jessica was like a guardian angel, which led nikki into becoming more like jessica, and using jessica as her stage name. i seriously thought she was jessica, but i guess she's dead.

I'm thinking hiro combined with that little girl will take out sylar...The Indian guy..does he have powers or is he all brains?

Who powers peter consumed with the fire...was he in contact with claire's mom?

In 5 years time, it not hard to imagine that Peter has come in contact with Meredith.

I was thinking about the part that Hiro stabbed Sylar, could it be Peter in disguise? After absorbing Ted power, and being stabbed by Hiro, caused Peter to explode due to the injury even though he has the regenerative power? Hiro/Future Hire, not knowing that it is Peter, keeps thinking that he must stop Sylar, which means all along they have been going on a wild goose chase?
