Another cool episode.

Suresh (sp?) had Sylar pegged all along. Although he misjudged his ability to control him.

Claire shows up at Nathans house and Grandma knows all about whats going on. She knows the Haitian dude, so what hell is going on there?

Peter and Sylar are going to face off finally.

There a couple of outcomes here.
Sylar picks up Peter's abilities and becomes the bomb or Peter stops being such a Wuss and throws him a beating (or both). I suspect we won't see the death of either one at this point.

We also learn that Sylar is patient Zero according to Suresh.

They are starting to really increase the number of story lines, I'd hate to be someone just walking in on the show.

My guess is that Peter now has his scar. The question now becomes, why did it not heal normally? Can Sylar cause damage that can't be repaired by Claire's healing ability? Can he inhibit powers to some extent? Or is damage done by another "hero" different than everyday falling off buildings/oil rigs type damage?

Claire didn't usually heal immediately (not like Wolverine does), she seems to have to have some "down" time in between the damage and the healing.

Speaking of inhibiting powers - has Peter ever been near the Haitian? If he has, technically he has the ability to inhibit others' abilities...including Sylar's. Hmmmm....

On a side note - does anyone else not really care at all for the shape-shifting girl? She bugs me...

As mentioned by me above, I do not like her (nor are we supposed to). I'd love to see Sylar kill her. Of course, that would lead to even more difficulties in apprehending him, but we do need a Season 2, right? :)

So you did. It was on the previous page....that's what I get for only reading the last page in a thread . ;)
It's OK. It gave me the chance to mention a possible cliffhanger regarding Sylar and - I hope - her tortured death. She just strikes me as... cruel.

She may be a beyotch, but she's hot. Though I guess we already have enough hot chicks in the show.

I thought I read somewhere they were going to wrap up this story arc in the first season and have a different story for season 2?

I know they said they'll be announcing new characters for Season 2...I wonder who'll carry over. Hopefully not this shape-shifter...she's trouble. :)

Oh, and I LOVE how they've shown Bennet's boss in the past few episodes and have done ZERO explaining of who he is...

Season 2 is already confirmed :)

Linky

(Edit, cant actually place link as it says nbc renews hit series, and when it combines the words it makes a naughty word... :))

If Peter can inhibit other abilities, which of Sylers will he take? If any? As originally Syler had none....

What if Syler became the bomb?

Sylar has an ability - he has the ability to isolate what made someone's power work and the ability to take it from them...of course it requires that he take their head apart to get it. Bummer for the other person.

What is the deal with april 23rd?! Why are they doing that to me, I don't wanna wait.

Agreed....I'm tired of these shows doing this. Any idea what they're running in the meantime? Reruns of old eps? Something new?

Which is why our boy peter is a stronger hero then Sylar. Peter only has to be in the area to obtain powers, which means he must have some latent powers he doesn't know about as well. Sylar though, knows his whole grouping of powers, which is to his benefit.

I'm hoping the scar ends up looking cool, and not just a line running across his forhead. Hopefully it won't be too harry potter-esque though.

I think they'll scuffle, making Sylar's finger erratic and causing the scar to end up looking like an outline of Claire's face. ;)

Haha, he can't date her... she's his neice.

Not that that was what you were saying.

Any one have any idea how many episodes are left this season?

TV.com only has 19 listed (of course they have ep 19 listed for next week, which is bunk), and surely they can't wrap this up in one or two more episodes. Anyone heard anything about this?

They'll probably run three or four. It def. won't just be one. Three would get them right at the end of the spring TV season. That'll be enough time to set of the nuke as well.

Peter hasn't come into contact with the nuclear guy yet, has he? So Sylar couldn't pick up that ability from Peter at this point. However, Peter should now have all of Sylar's abilities... the question is, can he use them right away to defend himself against Sylar, or will someone else show up to rescue him (and Suresh).

I think you're right about not seeing the death of either one yet.

Also, the last we saw of nuclear guy, was that he's locked in some room by "the company". So, somehow either he's going to get out and meet Peter - or Peter will end up getting abducted by "the company" and meet the nuclear guy there.

Earlier in the series we saw a painting of Hiro in the dinosaur age - so I suspect his next stop will be there, quite by accident. He's still learning to control his powers.

I agree that the shapeshifter girl needs to die, but only after Peter gets her abilities. ;)

Also, I loved Malcolm McDowell as Linden.

1. We saw Hiro do that while he was still in the musuem. They may throw us for a loop and have him go back in time to do that, but as it stands now, that painting has been fulfilled.

2 & 3. Agreed.
