I thought the painting showed a bare sword and a fleshed dinosaur while the museum was sheathed and just a skeleton dinosaur.

I'm pretty sure the dino was fleshed. As far as the sword goes, I think you are right, I think it was sheathed.

Anybody have the feeling that Peter may become bad?

When Future Hiro visited him on the train he had said something like, "Be the one we need." Meaning they don't have him yet? As far as being on the right side?

Also I wonder where Peter got the "booming voice" power, I forgot who he yelled at that caused that person to get knocked off there feet and fly back.

Ugh, I really hate these mid/late season breaks, I really wouldn't mind if they threw in a few filler episodes! (Not re-runs)

I really can't wait for the face off between Peter and Sylar though, pleaseeee make it bad ass.

Malcolm Macdowell is perfect for Lindermann. But did he get old or what? Even since the star trek movie. Must be all that ultraviolence.

Another amazing episode! :D

Lindermann reminds me of The Architect in The Matrix. Same sort of know-it-all smugness in the face of the hero looking for answers. I think Lindermann has powers of his own yet to be revealed!

The showdown between Sylar and Peter had me on the edge of my seat...

wow. this show just keeps getting better and better.

looks like claire now knows that peter is her uncle since she met grandma.

too bad we'll have to wait a while for the next show. at least 24 is non stop and i can watch jack kill more people.

Peter hasn't come into contact with the nuclear guy yet, has he? So Sylar couldn't pick up that ability from Peter at this point. However, Peter should now have all of Sylar's abilities... the question is, can he use them right away to defend himself against Sylar, or will someone else show up to rescue him (and Suresh).

Well, we know Issac painted peter getting his head cut open so maybe he will come and rescue him (maybe to get his wn revenge).

And I agree with everyone else about the illusion lady. She seems like she could be a real pain in the arse!! It would be justice if Bennet shot her while she looked like his wife.

My guess is that Peter now has his scar. The question now becomes, why did it not heal normally? Can Sylar cause damage that can't be repaired by Claire's healing ability? Can he inhibit powers to some extent? Or is damage done by another "hero" different than everyday falling off buildings/oil rigs type damage?

I don't think peter will get a scar. When Hiro came back in time he said he didn't recognise Peter because there was no scar but he also said he had to save the cheerleader.

So in the alternate time line Peter never met Claire and never took her healing powers, hence he has a scar in that reality.

In this time line he has met Claire and now has her healing powers so i guess he'll heal himself and then he won't have a scar.

I like where you're goin' with that, but presumably if he couldn't heal himself in the first future, would he have even survived the Sylar attack?

Ummn... I think you're going in the wrong direction here. I think it's just a repeating cycle type thing, future Hiro knew he had to tell Peter so he did. Ach, now i'm just confused.

LOL - time travel and "alternate futures" and the like eventually make my head hurt. I'm just waiting for Hiro to be able to control who gets frozen and all that. The Hiro we saw on the subway was WAY more powerful than the Hiro up until now (not to mention seemed he looked like an unholy bad$$).

Well he's shown that he can use Sylars powers when that invisible guy was beating him over the head with a wooden pole. So i guess in the alternative time line he still got away from (or beat up) Sylar but came away with the scar. In this new time line he still has the fight and uses his new powers but also has the healing powers.

Well think of it this way.

First time round Claire was killed and the bomb went off and then alternative future Hiro went back in time to warn Peter.

However in the future of this new reality he knows now that he will have to go back in time again to warn Peter to make sure that this new better reality happens again (for a future that's supposedly f'ed up he looks might good). Then to make sure he gives the same warning this time (just in case it changes anything) he asks future Peter what alternative future Hiro told him so he can say the same thing when he goes back into the past.

See that was easy wasn't it :D

I thought Isaac's pictures were of himself with his skull opened up a la Sylar? Didn't the guy in the pics have a goatee going on like Isaac used to, and like the body Hiro found on his first trip to the future?

Yes. Isaac painted himself cut open. Hiro found him cut open.

I think Peter and Sylar will fight to a draw and Sylar will go after Isaac and kill him.

The "patient zero" thing makes me think that in the end Hiro will be the one who stops Sylar but he won't kill him, he will banish him. Sylar needs to tear open the head to examine the brain and steal the powers. If Hiro drops Sylar off 2000BC he'll be stuck and since there are no heros then he'll probably just set himself up as some sort of diety and die of old age without being noticed by history.

One last thought: NBC asked for people to send in their theories. Perhaps they are just farming the best ideas to write the last episodes and hence the huge delay until the end of the season)

I think he got it from Eden at some point. It was her "suggestion" voice.

Eden died before he got her power. She blew her brains out so he couldn't get it. Plus, he can't tell people what to do just by saying it. Boomy voice was either someone else's power that Sylar stole and Peter channeled, or it's a by-product of the others powers.

Oh, I thought we were talking about the Boomy voice that Peter has, and used on Isaac. I'm not sure Sylar has a Boomy voice at all. I think he was just trying sound menacing when talking to Peter.
It's been awhile since I've watched earlier episodes, but didn't Peter and Eden cross paths at all?

We were talking about Peter, and I don't necessarily recall them (Peter and Eden) ever meeting, but perhaps my memory is bad :) I'll have to go back and watch the old eps.

Could be some new evolution of multiple powers...like Matt's reading thoughts, but in reverse, plus Eden's power (I don't remember if they met, but he did at least go to her apartment building to meet Suresh) or maybe just audio wave telekinesis...placing the waves inside the ears.

Of course if he's picked up the hearing problem power now too and the booming voice power was from Sylar, that could be a whole lot of fun/hurt for both of them.
