I thought the painting showed a bare sword and a fleshed dinosaur while the museum was sheathed and just a skeleton dinosaur.
I'm pretty sure the dino was fleshed. As far as the sword goes, I think you are right, I think it was sheathed.

Malcolm Macdowell is perfect for Lindermann. But did he get old or what? Even since the star trek movie. Must be all that ultraviolence.
Peter hasn't come into contact with the nuclear guy yet, has he? So Sylar couldn't pick up that ability from Peter at this point. However, Peter should now have all of Sylar's abilities... the question is, can he use them right away to defend himself against Sylar, or will someone else show up to rescue him (and Suresh).
My guess is that Peter now has his scar. The question now becomes, why did it not heal normally? Can Sylar cause damage that can't be repaired by Claire's healing ability? Can he inhibit powers to some extent? Or is damage done by another "hero" different than everyday falling off buildings/oil rigs type damage?
I don't think peter will get a scar. When Hiro came back in time he said he didn't recognise Peter because there was no scar but he also said he had to save the cheerleader.
So in the alternate time line Peter never met Claire and never took her healing powers, hence he has a scar in that reality.
In this time line he has met Claire and now has her healing powers so i guess he'll heal himself and then he won't have a scar.

Ummn... I think you're going in the wrong direction here. I think it's just a repeating cycle type thing, future Hiro knew he had to tell Peter so he did. Ach, now i'm just confused.
I like where you're goin' with that, but presumably if he couldn't heal himself in the first future, would he have even survived the Sylar attack?

(not to mention seemed he looked like an unholy bad$$).
Well, we know Issac painted peter getting his head cut open so maybe he will come and rescue him (maybe to get his wn revenge).
I thought Isaac's pictures were of himself with his skull opened up a la Sylar? Didn't the guy in the pics have a goatee going on like Isaac used to, and like the body Hiro found on his first trip to the future?
I'm thinking Peter's booming voice power combined with Sylar's "hearing problem" could end up in a whole lot of hurt for Sylar.

Can someone remind me where Peter picked up the "booming voice" power?
I think he got it from Eden at some point. It was her "suggestion" voice. Can someone remind me where Peter picked up the "booming voice" power?

Eden died before he got her power. She blew her brains out so he couldn't get it. Plus, he can't tell people what to do just by saying it. Boomy voice was either someone else's power that Sylar stole and Peter channeled, or it's a by-product of the others powers.
Oh, I thought we were talking about the Boomy voice that Peter has, and used on Isaac. I'm not sure Sylar has a Boomy voice at all. I think he was just trying sound menacing when talking to Peter.
It's been awhile since I've watched earlier episodes, but didn't Peter and Eden cross paths at all?
