Interesting that O2 have put nothing on their website about it. The other networks in the UK seem to be so far behind EE.
Yeah think it's due to the partnership EE have with apple...Interesting that O2 have put nothing on their website about it. The other networks in the UK seem to be so far behind EE.
Yeah but considering it’s just us chatting, demand should be low enough that we’ll all get one in the morning. All good.Pretty much bs not giving a launch time.
Given the ‘27.1’ date on Australia‘s store, it’s a good bet (at least the next one to try for).I think launch is midnight in Australia. 5am PST, 8am EST.
For previous Apple launches, Apple have always specified a time on their website at which the preording will become available? Am I right to assume that it will be the same time for this product launch (so 8am for the U.K.)?
Makes me think Apple might go with 13:00GMT (00:00 27/1 Australia). I think resellers aren't supposed to (or are scared of) taking orders before Apple! This is from EE's forum here in the UK:
Further details will be available from this Friday, January 26th, and you can pre-order from 1:30pm on this date.
yes the preorders will start at 13:00GMT UKMakes me think Apple might go with 13:00GMT (00:00 27/1 Australia). I think resellers aren't supposed to (or are scared of) taking orders before Apple!
It looks like I sacrificed animals, firstborn, and prayed to pagan gods for nothing. Going back go to bed since I have work in the morning,
For the next launch I'll write a Web page scraper that wakes me up when the product goes on sale. Yeah, that's the ticket!
You would think Apple could at least give its supporters a time slot to buy, but no!
