So it is now the 27/1 in Australia, so the pre-order window has opened. We should see something in the next 11 hours i.e. before the UK moves to 27/1...

It’s 27th here but it’s atill the 26th in some states. Come back in 3hrs and it’ll be the 27th in Australia

The HomePod caters only to the Google Max, BeoPlay A2 customer. Someone who wants good sound for music streaming. Anyone with an iOS device that supports always on “Hey Siri” essentially has the functionality of a dot or echo in their house.

What colour are we all going for?

Space grey for me

Might get a white in spring when 11.3 launches

This reminds me of the AirPod launch which was also very random.

I am guessing that the pre-orders will start at either Noon or 1 PM EST, which would be 9 or 10 AM PST

I agree i'm not hating on it I'm planning on buying a few for my house but to read people's comments on this forum it's a dead product that won't sell and so on, the same was said about the Apple Watch you're right about that, i brought one and have never looked back.

Remember this is Macrumors, where every product is a failure and Apple is doomed! ;)

I can't find the HomePod on the EE website. How would one pre-order from them?
I may be dumb, but what exactly is the EE website? Everyone keeps referring to it and I have negative idea what it is.

EDIT: Nevermind, link posted above.

they're "available" on the apple store app, but then say that they are no longer available when you try to add to bag. so looking like its going live soon
