I usually get AppleCare though.
If they do, I would think they would be on the Space Gray. Seems like more people are ordering Space Gray over White, that I've seen. It's early yet though.

Yes--even if you don't have Apple Music, it will still stream from your purchased iTunes library. I don't think iTunes Match will work with it though.
Thanks, that's what I was expecting, but I hadn't seen it clearly stated in any of the articles I've read so far on HomePod.
I tried iTunes Match several years ago and gave up with it after going through a painfully long process to get it to fully absorb my rather large iTunes library. It never really seemed to be worth it.
I'm satisfied with using iTunes to manage my own CD library and play music using speakers either attached to my computer, or (now) via HomePod.
I never had any issues with iTunes Match, but as a subscriber of Apple Music, I probably don't need to be paying for it yearly anymore. I don't think I uploaded anything that I can't just stream anyway, and if there were a few of those things here and there, I probably wouldn't miss them. In fact, when I got rid of all my CDs a few years ago, I actually kept the handful I knew were irreplaceable and not available anywhere for streaming. Only problem now is I don't own a CD player other than my PS4.
For sure. £39 is nothing for 2 accidental damage incidents. The extra 12 months warranty is a bonus too, I don't see me upgrading this within 2 years.
Ordered a white through the apple store app using Apple Pay. So quick and efficient. Feb 9th cant come quick enough!
What the heck, just ordered a second HomePod, also white and without Apple Care. Delivery also on the 9th. I have more than one room in my house where I'd like to have the music playing!
I just did the same and ordered a second HomePod. Must be plenty as they are all still having the 9th for delivery date.
Was not going to order at all but brother has a birthday coming and he has always loved my Sonos system, it will be his!
