Have all the iPhone whiners never owned a ****** phone? I used to have a Samsung that I guarantee was at least ten times worse than any of these issues. The battery lasted for less than 12 hours brand new, and the software lagged behind the keys by about 8 seconds!

There was no class action lawsuit there. . .

seriously, nothing is as bad as the htc i replaced with my iphone...

it still amazes me that I can leave my iphone on for days, weeks, months at a time and it still runs fine.. I've had a lot of phones I've had to reboot 3 times a day to get to do anything

I remember on t-mobile I had to call my voicemail to get my text messages to download to my phone cause otherwise it wouldn't connect or i dunno what

Compare the Apple to the Evo in this way. If Derek Jeter gets arrested its plastered on ESPN for 3 months. If someone from the Kansas City Royals gets arrested nobody gives a **** and we all keep on living.

As someone from Kansas, that made me laugh, very hard. Thanks.

It doesn't matter how many people are affected Vs whose not affected, the P.R. damage has been done. When you mention the new iPhone to someone they instantly ask if you heard about the reception issue.

Nah. There's a subset of folks that pay attention to such things and that's that. I've had a handful of people ask to see mine and not a single one knew anything of any death grips.

Also, Apple tries to belittle the grip of death reception issue by finally, officially admitting that they have, in essence, been lying to us all about the level of reception that one is actually receiving.

A past software update that did nothing but turn 2 bars into 4 bars with false and misleading graphics.

...and not only for the latest iPhone, but for past iphones also.

Apple—Retroactively fracking itself!

More than anything, all this is very un-Apple, which has me a bit concerned.

All these compounded issues is why I started this thread.

aaaaah! battlestar galactica reference!

Seriously, the phone has many issues. Are you not reading the threads here at Mac Rumors?

Doug.

You need to get a grip. It's just a phone. And Apple did a great job on the phone. If you think the iPh4 has issues, I don't think you've ever ventured over to Crackberry.com or owned a blackberry.

To each their own. If you don't want to buy it because of its issues, then purchase another product.

End of story.

Basically every tech manufacturer out there has issues with products they produce. HTCs have issues. Blackberries have issues, etc.

I am not your bro.

And, no, I want some truth, not typical apologist rhetoric.

I own more apple stuff than you do, I guarantee it. I am simply not a blind fanboy.

Quit being a douche, bro.

"I want some truth" about how apple "fracked" up the iPhone from some internet forum ? U serious, bro ?

Some phones have issues they shouldn't have. Percentagewise, how many "bad" iPhones were shipped ? Nobody here knows, bro. Ask Steve.

Our 2 iPhone 4s we've had since 6/23, have not exhibited the problems others had. No yellow screen, no overheating, no rattling, no signal issues (since we use cases, just like with the 3Gs). No broken screens, either.

Didn't drop my 3G, and don't intend on dropping this one, either. I did drive my Ford truck into a wall and it got damaged, but Ford wouldn't give me a new truck for free. I mean, the bumpers are supposed to absorb impact, right ? I'm confused.

Peace out, broseph.
