House is back. im not really sure where they're going with this season. Foreman is just annoying. Chase has all of a sudden become a murderer Cameron…well i dont know what shes doing. 13 is playing mind games with Foreman which i approve of. And House is trying to cope with being nice to people. I miss the good old days of season one and two. i understand that they couldnt keep doing the same show over and over again but i liked it.

lol. Seems like you despise Foreman just as much as I do. I hate the guy. I think 13 needs to keep playing games with him. I want hit to be fired or demoted to a position below House. I want him to be depressed out of his mind. I dont know why, I just don't like the guy.

I think I'm the same way... I didn't mind him at first but lately I've been saying more and more, "Wow, he's terrible!" Guess we'll see now that House is back.

Just got into this show. I generally try to stay away from medical shows, but I watched an episode on Hulu after all my friends talking about this.

Great show, just got through with season 1, onto season 2.

It does seem to have a general script. Open with some injury or disease. House takes it or gets talked into it because it is weird. Immediately thinks of something, but is wrong. Back to the table. New idea, something that is barely indicated (syphilis only explains 3/5 symptoms, it can't be syphilis!), tells team to treat for it. Then he puts it all together at the last minute to take the IV/syringe/button/medicine out of the persons hand who was going to treat them in front of the family of the patient. Mix in Cuddy (Cutty?) and some witty comments. Repeat next week!

I like it though.

The show definitely has a formula, but the characters are so good that it doesnt really matter. if your on season 2 (my favorite by far) the best ep of that season is prob the second one called Autopsy.

Cuddy btw

It was very different, very unique, very good, and very House.

Not too many shows could change their formula so drastically and pull it off.

agreed it shows that House isnt the only strong character in the show. to be honest he could not have had a line and it would have still been a great episode. really all they needed from him was the smile he gave cuddy at the end when everyone was clapping for her.

that smile was also significant because i think it shows how House has improved psychologically. of the simplest level he is actually going to hospital events and on a deeper level i believe he is, for the first time in a while, truly happy for someone else.

It was a really well written episode. To show the day from Cutty's prospective and to expand the turmoil beyond House's problems was brilliantly done. I enjoyed seeing the show from her side while still knowing that House was working on a case even though we saw very little of it.

I thought it was very interesting ... Cuddy had a "House moment" when she hears someone say something, she cocks her head at an odd angle as if she's had some great revelation, and then off she goes (sorry, forgotten exactly what).

I also thought it was interesting that House kept telling her to accept far less, but she stuck to her guns and got what she wanted. It's not often that House is wrong.

I enjoyed it more in the Wilson episode; the line House says "if you had told us you played tennis..." as Wilson exits the room had me cracking up.

how are people liking the new season of House? I always rooted for house and cuddy to get together but now that it has actually happened i dont know how i feel about it.

On the same boat, but, I am guessing something will happen. They can't just make the entire season, and they loved happily ever after. There has to be a twist, like a kid on the way or 13 having an explanation.

Having not seen too many previews or paid too much attention when I have seen one this last week, I think there is something going on with Cuddy's daughter on tonight's episode.?.

oh yea i agree. i just hope they find a way to make it work. cause the show will eventually end and i would rather see House happy then miserable.

I think they're over-playing the 13-as-a-dark-horse card. It's getting boring.

Meh, this show has been on auto pilot for 2 years. Best days behind it.

Cuddy is one of the best characters in House. So that's a major blow for me. Lisa Edelstein played the role perfectly.

And I agree the show has been on autopilot. But the soap opera is still good and I watch the show just because of that. I skip over the medical stuff because it doesn't make sense anymore. It feels more of an afterthought really.

The only time the medical stuff was interesting was in the first four seasons. And season 4 was the best of House. Pity it was so short.

Hope they wrote her out of the show for the finale (meaning the producers knew about her decision weeks ago when they were filming the finale) Otherwise I can see a depressed House for the premiere of Season 8, wallowing in the exit of Cuddy.
