I’m a new comer to herbal teas, I stumbled upon the Teeccino brand, and am enjoying several of their flavors, as previously mentioned, but I’m open to trying other brands.

Looking for suggestions from our tea drinkers! Caffeine free preferred. :)

Rooibos is great and has no caffeine at all. Very unique flavor and unlike other teas.

Black tea. I never liked too much milk, but over time I tuned my taste buds to preferring a stronger and stronger taste. Now, even a drop of milk feels too much. Also speeds up the making process in the morning! ...quite bad on the teeth though ..

Hibiscus is, well, hibiscus. I'm sure you've seen it in Texas. It's very tart and refreshing. Redbush refers to rooibos which has a unique flavor but most like it. There's also honeybush, which isn't like rooibus. Once you get used to the flavor, it's a great drink hot or cold. I've been drinking all three for many years. The hibiscus may exasperate any acid reflux you have.

Tattle Teas has a variety of teas.

I drink Assam, loose leaf, without sugar or milk. Lately, I’ve started eating too many Digestives through.

Edit: missed a word

Probably, but sometimes the tannins in tea can cause the smooth muscles in your intestinal tract to contract and relax. Leading to the obvious.

Did you add the word to your original post? You can for clarity. :)
I did. Those biscuits, dipped in the tea while it’s hot for two-three seconds(any more and they fall apart) and then eating them is pure bliss. It also sweetens the tea a little, although I have no problems drinking it neat.

I had my first cup of Tealyra brand S.African Red Rooibos. It tastes, nutty, of bark, maybe earthy. I can’t say it is my favorite flavor in this new world of teas, but it’s not bad and I have a half pound for it to grow on me, 1-1/2 teaspoons at a time. :)

I just looked at the directions and it says 1.5 tsp per 8oz of water. Maybe I made it too weak (16oz mug) and will double the dosage next time.

Always add the milk afterwards. But strangling seems a bit harsh.
Yeah one of the most annoying things I see is people who pour the water in and immediately pour the milk in! It never tastes as nice.

Strangling is harsh. Throwing the scolding hot contents in their face would be more appropriate. Only joking, we all think it though :p

I have a long list of people who deserve to be murdered, so tea makers are a long way down the list!

Plus my tea is made by myself or Mrs AFB pretty much exclusively. I don't let people make me tea in the office (I also don't make tea for them).
I suppose there might be a half dozen cups I have out a year. But generally I'm in change of my own!

I can see that. To me, it's a little naturally sweet/floral, too.

As they are not allowing the tea to steep, maybe the goal is to drink tea flavored milky water. ;)

I open the foil wrapper; toss a pinch or two in the strainer; pour hot water in the cup; put the lid on and steep.

Remove the strainer and put it on the lid.

Drink.

I’ve had several cups of Numi Brand Organic Tea called Rooibos Chai.

It is completely different than the Tealyra brand S.African Red Rooibos, so much so that you would not recognize them by taste as related in any way.

Part of the reason Rooibos Chai ingredients: organic Rooibos, organic cloves, organic ginger, organic allspice, organic cardamom, organic nutmeg, and organic cinnamon.
Pumpkin pie anyone? ;)

Actually the cinnamon is so strong, not unpleasantly so if you like the spices used in pumpkin pie, that you could take these ingredients and add them to just about anything and get the same taste, which is not bad in itself, but it strikes me as mislabeling, because while there maybe Rooibos in it, this tastes more like a cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves tea, than a Rooibos tea. As is, unless there is an amazing health benefit to Rooibos, I would be just as likely to turn to the Bigelow Benefits Balance Cinnamon and Blackberry Herbal Tea.

Below is a series of recent related posts.
I just discovered Bigelow Benefits Balance Cinnamon and Blackberry Herbal Tea at the local Kroger’s at about $3 a box for 18 tea bags. It is delicious!

Bigalow Tea, Fairfield, Ct, USA.
Ingredients: Cinnamon, dandelion leaves and root, lemongrass, blackberry and raspberry flavors, hibiscus, blueberry leaves, fennel, rose hips, Apple, blackberry leaves, elderberries.

Available on Amazon, pack of 6 boxes.
