Real life pictures of black, saddle brown and blue baltic wallets on 12 mini white?? If someone has got them, please, share it
Nice. Checkout the Apple leather case, they are great in my opinion.I bought a 128GB blue mini yesterday and love its small size. I have a Note 20 Ultra as my primary but will test the 12 mini these next two weeks. The small size is so comfortable and the battery was great today on its first day outside. I have a blue Apple silicone case but it collects so much lint and dust. Going to return the case and find something else.
I had almost the same generations like you do. Only I wish mini sometimes a bit bigger, not smaller. Lol me. 😀 12 is really big and mini is perfect in hands. It’s just I think that 5,8” in this design would be much better (while the screen is still scaling from XS / 11 Pro).Green, 256GB mini. Tied with my other favorite phone, iPhone 5.
Went from 3g, 5, 6, XS, 12 Mini. They just kept getting bigger until the mini. I honestly wish it was a bit smaller, like iPhone 4 sized but full screen. That would be the absolute perfect size imo. But I'm still very happy with the mini. Gonna hold onto it indefinitely.
I would also add the battery life. Yes, I know that we can charge our phones and right now it is relatively fast but those batteries have defined lifespan. The better the battery life, the longer you can keep your phone. When it comes to such prices, longevity matters for me. Otherwise I would like to have the smallest phone possible as I am all about portability.
Well for me, my mini is down at 98% after 4 months. Didn't expect it that soon, my previous XS was at 88% after 2 years. But this is taken into consideration as well. Think about it. People are still using the first gen SE / 5s phones. They still hold charge relatively well. Apple has placed a ton of safeguards into place with the way the software works the batteries now. Providing a more long term lifespan for the batteries. 5 months later, my 12 mini is still at 100%. And that’s daily charging during car rides. They know what they are doing.

I am about 4-5 hours daily, mostly around 4 hours (last ten days I had average 3hours and 51 minutes). I charge only via wireless charger from IKEA with 5W speed during night and I don't have installed any social sites. Truth to be told, after those 2 years with XS I got replaced my battery in Apple Store thanks to my AC+, so I think I will repeat that with my mini. And from the start of pandemic I'm using my iPad and MacBook much more than I used to with XS. Maybe time to switch my wireless charger? 😀 I don't watch media on the phone so I don't know if is something wrong. How heavy of usage? I know the mini has pushed me back to using my MacBook and my iPad quite a bit for media. Which is good because with my Xs and XR I was constantly using the phone instead of the devices I paid good money for lol. My readings are with 5ish hours of screen on time almost daily.
This is a good point and indeed it is important how you use your phone. My general usage is not high. Problem is I like to use the phone for the camera and when I am on a walk with friends or during trips I use it rather heavily. To a point where I might need to charge more than once a day.But this is taken into consideration as well. Think about it. People are still using the first gen SE / 5s phones. Well, to use your example, your mini will also be at 88% after two years.Well for me, my mini is down at 98% after 4 months. Didn't expect it that soon, my previous XS was at 88% after 2 years.
Will see. I don't know, if 12s/13 mini will be something special, for the first time I can think about switching just after one year.Well, to use your example, your mini will also be at 88% after two years.
I don’t complain. It’s similar to my previous XS but that still could be improved in future, hopefully. Everyone would love to have a phone with like 2days usage. 😀All of you complaining about battery life on the Mini, what did you come from? I have an SE (original) and it's got to be an improvement over that! I had my third battery installed last November and it's nowhere near as good as the one I had installed in 2019, but it does get me through most of the day unless I go out for a long bike ride (using Glympse and music)
Same experience with mini. 30-40% at the late evening hours between 18-21hours. I’m not saying it is bad, it’s fine according to the size. Still could be better, right? 🙂 It always could be better.I think it depends on your use case. For me, the mini made it through a full day most of the time. On a occasion when I had a particularly heavy day I would go to bed around 30%. But I also work from home and can charge any time I want. That being said, the max has ridiculous battery and even on a heavy day I go to bed with about 50%. That includes several phone calls cumulatively around 3-4 hours plus some video calls for work. Music streaming, texting, camera usage, and some browsing.
Good advice perhaps for tweens and teenagers. Most adults have jobs (or outside activities) that interfere with a full time screen in front of their face. The Mini has far better battery life than most iPhones historically, and well suited to the needs of average adults. Outliers know what they need, from massive phones to battery packs to well timed recharging from a plug (this last is very fast indeed for the Mini). I charge mine about an hour a day (never overnight) with my old 5 watt charger and that is more than enough for my many hours of use per day (I'm retired).I just don't think some people should be getting the mini based off of their use case. If your phone is your main device you probably shouldn't be surprised the battery isn't doing what you need it to do. It's a small battery and not best suited to be on and running all day consuming media, running social media apps and surfing the web. A person really shouldn't consider the mini if it's to be your main device.
Theoretically and probably most adults, but I think there is a sizable population of adults who like to constantly distract themselves from work (and college/university) with their phones 🤦.Good advice perhaps for tweens and teenagers.
