Same here. If they’d put the 3rd camera in the mini, it would be a slam dunk...for another mini. Meanwhile, that little slide in your pocket Samsung Flip 3 would almost tempt me. I think the cameras are inferior, though. Perhaps if the Flip is popular, Apple will make a flip phone.

Nah. I upgraded from an 8 to the 12 mini and it was a big upgrade. The 12 does what I need now. Battery is fine. Better than the 8 was. I won’t upgrade for another year or two. Year over year improvements are not enough to justify the cost for me.
Well, my pre-order was such a fiasco that I had to go in the store to buy it (and an iPad) yesterday. I was so burnt out I haven't even opened the box yet!

First time mini user here and the 13 mini has been amazing. In love with the blue and perfect size. I think I have found the perfect iPhone.

I came over from an X, and while it wasn't as big of an upgrade as yours, the 12 mini is definitely a phone I should be able to hang onto for at least another couple of years. I've been pretty happy with it.
I wish a Purple 13 mini, maybe they released later? who knows...

Same, I really wish they would have made it part of the Fall line up. They should have kept that pink for the Spring release.

A Mini Pro would be nice, but I feel like Apple is advertising the Pro for Creatives, so I guess the logic would be those types want bigger screens.
UPDATE!!! 13 Mini is up and running. It's lovely. But it won't activate and the phone number to do so doesn't see it as an order so I still have two phones haha!
I don't want a pro mini. Extra camera features I don't use and cosmetic features I don't see because it should have a case on. The Pro is AUD$500 more than the mini. I can afford it but I prefer that saving.
Because of the news of the 13 mini being the last mini, I will buy it next year just before it's discontinued. I have had a 12 mini since last November.
Discontinuing is not certain yet so I will be watching the news over the coming months.

Back on the mini train, in pink (could be a little more pink)! Had the 12 mini at launch, then a brief stint with a S21 (got curious) and didn't like, didn't feel like repurchasing a mini so went for the 12 Pro.
Watching the keynote I was pretty excited about the 13 Pro cameras mainly. ProMotion is nice and all, but I don't care for it on a phone, did have a quick look in store and it is nice! I also do like the stainless band and etched rear glass (I use the phone naked). But the usability of a smaller phone is top of my list and with the mini having the same main camera as the 12 Pro Max is great.
Another reason I went with this is, it may be the last mini. So will keep as a keepsake when I eventually upgrade. Wish I got my hands on a new rose gold SE1 when I had the chance (honestly still my favorite iPhone).

After seeing all the colours, I’m glad the pink turned out to be the nicest. The blue looks better than I thought, but wow is the pink nice! It’s not just “pink” like previous pinks. It’s a very subtle pink, like a pink mixed with a white powder.
Imma put a blue case on it anyway, so whatever. 🤣
